I hope I can co-ordinate with the Blues again this year beerwise..us Bud Lighters need to stick together and keep the supply ample!

First, Hogan you better show a picture of me DRINKING a bud light. I stick with the Coors light to honor Colorado. I do love those Bud LIght Great American Heroes commercials as they are damn funny.
I think the talk of Dipso and I sharing a room never materialized. He would need to Contact me on that. I think it was on the discussion of my ticket and room bartering.
And yes there are two Bronco Billys. One from Chicago and one that reminds you of your family get togethers where there is always one fat drunk uncle. BIG Difference. I know there is a photo of him with his painted stomach. If someone has both Billy's, i think a side by side photo would do justice for future encounters.

Chances are that the pre-game day will be at a bar down in lodo or 16th St. area, so you could probably catch a hotel shuttle or one of the free ones or the lightrail. Don't worry about the logistics now. Things always seem to work out just fine.

So Bronco Billy, any chance of you & Julie making it out for this game?

Very slim chance if Julie doesn't find a teaching job for this summer. She's had 11 interviews, but there's 100 - 300 applicants applying for each district. If we make it to Denver, it will probably be against San Diego since the next day is Columbus Day.

He answered your question on the orangeforceone message board. He said

I don't have an exact plan yet CBF1 but the bus should be at all home games whether I'm there or not. I'm thinking I'll make most of the home games.

Woot, wife and I just booked our trip to Ft Collins that weekend/week and got 3 tickets to the game, section 114. 3 home openers in a row for me! That's more than when I lived in Ft Collins, and that was for 13 years! ^5

We used Stubhub. Not cheap, but they ones we got were not really any more than some in the second level. I would have loved to get some in the south stands again (went 3 times there 2 years ago), but there were 2 together and 4 together, we really only needed 3, so went with these so I didn't have to worry about selling one ticket.

CaliJohn...All I can say is that it's nice to be holding an ACE when you know you are going to need it. I'll be there until I'm a gray haired man and I trip and break a hip while kicking a burning raider jersey around the parking lot. When that happens I'll have to modify a wheel chair and add a motor to it or something so I can get around the lot better. Oh wait are speeding wheel chairs banned on Invesco grounds? Hilarious! ;)

I have all the respect in the world for the Broncos organization and their stadium rules but I think some of their tailgating rules, who they cater to in their parking lot, and who they hire to enforce their rules sucks and they know it but like they say opinions are like a-holes right? ;D We discussed these issues face to face more than once over the years and sometimes you just need to agree to disagree (no big deal). They know where I stand for tailgating now (see pic below) and know I'll do my part as one fan of the 12th man. We agreed on that.

Thanks to Dipso and others who have my back.

OrangeForceOne rolls on......... ^5

Oh while I'm on the subject of tailgating and not agreeing with Invesco Tailgating rules...Anyone know a good rock band who could tear it up for the Raider Tailgate?:wiggle: If you have one in mind let me know.

I will be at this game and I am freakin excited as heck!

I suppose i'll skip the Broncos Barn for this game and hang out with OrangeManers. I think I've been around the forums enough where I wont feel like a jackbutt walking up to the tailgate without knowing anyone.

Ive been to two or three of the tailgate parties and I still feel like that hehehehe Im starting to get to know a few more people and need to up my posts on here and do something memorable at this tailgate :clown:

He's giving you crap...but we do all pitch in with the tailgate. We felt the same way the first time we went to the tailgate...but Meck and crew made us feel very welcome. It's hard not to fit in when you have the Mane and Broncos in common! You'll feel right at home!

I'm sure we'll have a list up soon of what we need for the tailgate and jobs for people. No worries...STG and I will take care of the planning. We usually do a grocery list, have a paypal account open for donations, have someone on the ground in Denver do a costco trip and have a signup for cleanup, etc.

This is true. I'm in the middle of nowhere Iowa right now, doing a little "work" and decided to get a camp update. I need to get in what ever I can because I won't see one preseason snap this year.

I thought Meck is doing his own (reduced) thing this season. Not the "free for all" he used to do.

I told him a couple of seasons ago that **** gets out of hand quickly as the numbers rise.

That's why I "toned down" my Tailgaters years ago.

I've done this thing for many years and when it started to get out of hand it just stopped being fun. Things (collectibles, clothing, etc) were disappearing
and when it came down to game time, attendees vanished.
Also, if the numbers are unknown, you tend to run out of important supplies (beer, liquor, food, etc) before game time.

Entertaining is one thing, but slaving is another.

Just my two cents worth!

With the Omane girls in charge, organizing shouldnt be a problem. It's getting them to fetch us a beer within 30 seconds that might be a problem! Is there a Rockies game on Saturday? I would like us all to start the LoDo experience at the park and scoop up some rocky mountain oysters for starters. If not, is bar hoping the other alternative?

I'll be traveling back to Virginia the week leading up to this game. I should be back the Saturday before the game. If I close on this house...I should have a place that we can go on Saturday evening. It would be cheaper and less smokey than a bar.

I actually have a room available for the taking! They are $129/night with a two night minimum. But, I need confirmation this week if you want it. It beats having to drive anywhere or take a cab to the stadium. They also have a shuttle that will take you down to the 16th St. Mall.

If anyone else is interested in the room, please let me know ASAP. I have to get info to the hotel this week!
