It's true. I was playing in the group behind them.

The round lasted 7 1/2 hours. Hilarious!

And Tiger Woods continues to make hundreds of millions of dollars while we display our perceived machismo on a football message board.

What was the yardage? 70 yds and she used a driver?

I was eating at a restaurant and looking out the window at a hole on a city - par 3 course. This particular hole couldn't be more than 50 or 60 yds - you tee off in the direction of a major four lane road, mind you. These three 'older' ladies walk up to the tee with drivers - I almost choked. I watch them each drive, probably 40 or 50 yard line drive shots, but if one of them caught it right they would be driving thru someones windshield 100 yrds away. They swung hard, just didn't connect. I cringed each time. Funny stuff.

she is 102 years old!! give her some credit that she is still active and not in a rocking chair somewhere. was she lucky? of course, but every hole in one is...it takes just the right swing with the just the right wind with just the right bounce with just the right roll....ya ya...luck is a part of the game and im really happy for her.

On our golf course one old lady got killed from a cart rolling on top of her b/c of the hill brake not set. Her group paniced and drove the cart back over her trying to get the cart off of her. Sad thing is they didn't stop playing.

Dam, funny story here. My grandfather played golf alot, he was part of the mens club in Long Beach, at Heartwell gold course, same place where Tiger grew up playing. He was playing a round and a man in the group in front died on the green while putting. Someone in my grandfathers group yells out "get that bastard of the green so we can play threw"!, unreal.

I know, I hate when that happens. Hit and drag, hit and drag. ROFL!

I hate her......alot. ;D

geez, i work my tail off the last few years changing my entire swing (had to make it more lower back friendly), practicing and playing constantly, getting my handicap into single digits (bottomed out at 6.4 so far), and i STILL havent ever had a hole in one (or even eagle for that matter. missed every one of the putts so far) and this lady (i wanted to use a word that starts with "b" and ends in "itch" but ill play nice since she's 102) sinks a hole in one from 100 yards.....with her driver.

no justice in the world.

She's probably been playing for 80 years. Maybe when you've played that long you can get your Ace.

Yep, she got her first ace, and she couldn't even "jump" for joy.
