Anyone making a trip out to Vegas this year to play?

We will be out there for hopefully a couple weeks in June to play in a couple WSOP events

You putting up the $1500 or getting in with satellites? Arent you recently married? You must have asecret stash or a wife that has full faith in your poker play. I think i am going to enter The Bike's Omaha event this Friday. Only $97 for most of their tourneys for their 3 week events. Good luck. I would love to go out there during the WSOP even if I dont play in one of the events. So many tourneys every hour. Nothing like playing completely drunk at Bally's at 3 am !

Actually I think shes going to be the one that plays. Im not really all that confident in my play. Im going to go out and try and satellite into something

Just got back from Sin City yesterday. Spent several days there and a couple out in the San Diego area.
We'll be going back later this year, but just don't know when quite yet.

Why aren't you taking her along. You can gamble and she can enjoy a couple of shows or shop (spend the money you win)!:wiggle:

Good luck with your trip AK. I'm not a die hard poker player but I could see how women could be more patient at the table. I could also see how some guys could under estimate a gal like yours AK and their egos could get in the way of good judgement. I hope she wipes the floor with those mother ****ers!

As for me I usually have a better time when I stay out of casinos. I do enjoy catching a game and laying a bet at sports book though.

I'm usually gung ho to get to Vegas and can't wait to get out of dodge after less than 48 hrs.

shopping shows????, she likes to gamble almost or probably more than me. so if it aint a joint trip it isnt flying anymore...

You are right...heres a great one..we are in KC for the game, and playing at at one of the local casino. Im playing 2/5 NL, she comes up and I hand her some money and she sits down (we play off the same bankroll, but no one at the table knows this, and I'm just hold both of our monies) they just figure shes just wife/girlfriend and wants to play a game she saw on TV ;D . She proceeds to wipe the table out.

not bitching about not going to Vegas w/o the wife, just married life takes a bit getting used to. (its only been 6 mo)
