It's seems like a daily occurrence, so I guess here's today's installment.
A swift boat fund raiser/smear artist is now our ambassador in Belgium. The only catch? Bush used what is supposed to be an emergency power (Recess appointments) in order to do it since the nomination would have clearly failed in the senate.

The only reason Democrats wouldn't approve him is because he donated to and anti-kerry campaing. They tried to blackball him and Bush is fighting back. There is nothing in this that goes agianst the will of the american people. All these loopholes are in place for a reason and it's not wrong for a president to use them. Trust me when a dem gets the presidency you will be glad it's set up for the president to have some ways around congressional game playing.

Please don't mistake me for a Democrat. Clinton did the same thing, and it was equally wrong then. The executive branch is running absolutely roughshod over congress... and it has to stop. After all, it does completely contradict the will of the body elected to represent the people. One could certainly argue that the democrats where put in power as a reaction to tactics including those employed by the swift boat veterans. Isn't that subversive to what we might want?
