Fellow Bronco Brethren of New York,
For two years since I moved to this city I have toiled as the lone broncos fan in havens for the sweaty fans of lesser teams.
The Vikings have their own bar. The Bears have their own bar. The Colts have their own bar. Heck, even the Niners have their own bar. Everybody has their own bar!!!
Now is the time to get the Broncos game on the BIG tv, not the 17 inch Zenith by the bathroom.
Now is the time for the excess sweat from overspiced chicken wings to be Bronco sweat, not Viking sweat! And Vikings fans really look like Vikings.
Now is the time for perky college girls in Giants jerseys to be perky college girls in Bronco jerseys!
Now is the time to stand up and FIND OUR OWN BAR.
Who's with me??
P.S. I can't move to Colorado.

I am with you Chris, of course you have the capital to get it started.;D The only place I ever go to watch games in the city is the Park Ave country club. Unfortunately if you stick around for the early and late game you down about a bill when your leave.

They can be allowed, they just have to sit in the back watching 15" tube tv's without HD

Build it and they will come! I'll bring the bus!
Mile High Mike's in New Jersey really takes care of Broncos fans. I'd recommend hitting that place for now!

So, any Broncos fans located in New York that are interested in this? As a true city dweller, I do not own a car...nor can I drive....nor can I read. Ok I can read, obviously.
I know BroncsYanks / Bronco Matt will be up for it. We've kept in touch despite not getting together once last season.
WE CAN DO EET. Get on board.

Don't feel bad about not having a true Broncos bar. I could make the arguement that Denver doesn't even have one.
Plenty of Broncos fans have asked me "Hey Meck when I come to Denver for a game can you tell me where the Broncos bar is?". I never know what to tell them as I don't think any single bar can lay claim to that title. Correct me if I'm wrong locals.....
Strange but true IMO....

Now that I think about it your right. But when you really think about it a bar isn't going to stand out or be "special" if it just has a bunch of Bronco stuff in Denver. I could be wrong.....

Yeah, I would assume that just about any sports bar in the Denver area is a 'Broncos' bar - unless they specifically set themselves up to support another team (aka 'Packers' bar, etc)
At least, thats how it works here in Arizona. But then again, there is almost no local support and so many transplants from other places in the US that every NFL team has at least one bar all about them.

Yeah, I would assume
Well it's free to assume that all bars are Broncos bars I suppose but it's not the case. I spent a better part of a year cruising around Denver in OF1 looking for a place to call home and none of them fit the bill.
I just don't consider a bar with one Broncos helmet and an Elway poster hidden in a corner to be a Broncos bar. I'd say that describes most of the sports bars in Denver.
Dukes as many die hards as there are in Denver I find it hard to believe a place couldn't make it billed as "The place to go for Broncos fans" (If done correctly that is)

The way I see it is the bar acts as an embassy. There is no "Bronco's Bar" in Denver because it is Bronco country.
However, out here in the big apple it is Giants country...and we need Bronco representatives.

hey chris i got your back on this one. count me in like the last time when i called everyone together to check out last years game. it was a good idea. what people i think do not understand here is the amount of abuse we can get here in NY being a bronco fan. just an FYI, you are always invited to my place. just bought a huge system that i am excited about seeing for next season. 52" flat screen lcd sony xbr3, bose 6 speakers and subwoofer, YAMAHA rxv-2700 for major sound. mounted on a wall and yes i have the sunday ticket with super fan for HDTV, sound interesting? yes it is. :). just saw some hdtv pre- season it was amazing. price : wear your colors :) and bring a 6 pack for what you drink thats it. Call me if anything comes up. also have the whole bronco superbowl on tivo
