I'm in Pittsburg, PA for the week. Anyone been here? I'm staying downtown. Where are some good but not too expensive places to eat? What are some must see places? This place is crazy expensive. Good thing the USAF is paying for it.

Head over to the Strip district Primanti Brothers, pronounced (per-man-ti) is dare. Plenty of niteclubs and bars in the strip also.
Could also head over (cab ride) to the waterfront in Homestead. Lots to eat over there Dave and Busters, TGIF, there shopping centers, also you can catch a flick at Lowes Movie Theaters. There is a Rock Bottom Brewery also.
Robinson Town Centre is outside of the Burgh. It's loaded with places to eat and shop, has a huge mall, movies....typical suburbs stuff.
Station Square is close. Lot's to do,drink, see yadyadayda

Word of advice don't wear any Bronco gear. It's just not worth hearing the Steeler chants of "Here we go"

Primanti Bros is a pittsburgh institution. Try their sandwiches. They have the fries inside them.
Also, lots of nice Italian places around in the University of Pittsburgh/Carnegie Melon area. All of them on an affordable college budget.

QFT. I loved living in Pittsburgh, its an eccentric place, but I swear to God I got sick of the ****ing steeler chants. It also changed depending on who is on the team. When I was there, they had a steeler song involving Levon Kirkland, Yancy Thigpen and Kordell Stewart, and of course, the omnipresent "Bus"...stupid ass steelers...

Also, I believe they have a hotdog place in oakland...think its oakland, that is pretty good, and I hate hotdogs. I cant remember the name tho.

im acutally going to pittsburg(robinson township) today too. my wife and i shop there alot. they have tons of good eating there. the strip is very good too. station square has a few good ones too.
