Apparently Jeff Garcia is getting married in April. Though it should be noted that the marriage is only legal in Massachussettes ;D

Even though Garcia comes accross as a Pickle smooching FAG, he has had playmates fighting for him and he gets some serious pu$$y.

Not a bad analysis from Marshall Faulk. He basically said we need:
younger OL
Safety
Better DL
They also showed a bunch of Cutler's picks and suggested "he needs to check down his big gun and not stare down receivers" Duh. Apparently Cutler said he thinks he'll improve most in reading coverages and being more patient.

"What he has to do is NOT stare down the receiver"
Ut oh, someone said something bad about Cutler.

Key points that we need:
Youth on O-line
Safety Help
Improve Pass Rush
Yeah, this has been a waste of time. If you missed it, all you are missing is Jay Cutler interception highlights and rehashing what has been said here all offseason.

Cutler needs to not force so many balls and just be smarter next year.. and i thknk he will be just fine..
Yea, nothing we didn't already know there.

03-20-2007, 07:53 PM
i guess they don't consider dre bly a key addition

Dre Bly was the first one they talked about dragondawg.
Alot of you guys probably watch alot more college ball then I do. What do you think about that Adam Carriker they were talking about? Of course he looked real good in the clips they showed and we definately need a pass rusher.
WTF - I just turned it on and it's Steve Young talk and then Dan Marino next. Am I missing something? 4:59 here right now in AZ.

Yeah ... even the NFL Network has nothing on the OrangeMane - and yes, too many Cutler INT clips. He threw, what? Five? They showed very one. It was fun watching some of Mike Bell's long runs again. 8 TDs in nice for a rookie CFA ... he's a nice 2-punch from Travis Henry.
Yeah, REB ... the Broncos draft preview came after the Thurman Thomas interbiew, and they semed to have Cariker pegged at 21. The guy said he's quicker and faster than the prototypical Nebraska D-Lineman.

Carriker is a stud REB, go to the draft forum, plenty on him there.

I love Carriker. He can control the LOS. He might never be a 10-12 sack guy, but he doesn't get pushed around. Which is exactly what we need right now

Big solid DE (around 300 pounds) that more of power RE that elite pass rusher. I think he fundamentally sound and would be a nice additions. He might go early then 21 because of his size make a really good DE in 3-4
Thanx guys! Cool, I'll have to check out the draft forum soon so I'm a little more familiar with some of the possible 1st day choices before next month.
Pass Rushers, Pass Rushers, Pass Rushers! I'm tired at yelling at the TV "Are you guys gonna let him stand back there all F***ING day!" :)

Thanks Buff....I Tivo'd it from your thread....thanks for the heads up...
gotta admit...not a whole lot of info....i didn't expect to hear anything i didn't already know but i was still a little dissappointed....esp the draft portion...what was that about 15 seconds long maybe?
I for one don't want adam carriker....he looks stiff...like a white younger version of courtney brown....
either way...i still appreciate the heads up buff...
you da man....

Carriker is far from stiff and if you watch his handwork you'll have an entirely different take on Carriker. He is super long and will be better than people think at getting after the QB. He may never be that 20 sack guy, but I don't think 12 per season is out of the question. Still, if he were to get 8 per season and help improve our run D he would be a welcome addition. For the record, the reason I think he'll be a 12 sack per season guy is b/c of his size. He'll likely move inside on 3rd downs and his size/quickness will give OG's fits.
Like Elsid said though, a 3-4 team could certainly fall in love with him early b/c he would be an ideal 3-4 end.

Many beautiful women are fag hags. They were probably fighting over who's better friends with him.
Why do I have to explain everything to you?

If we get him, I hope all these Ray Childress type projections pan out.

Come on now Slap, that's like comparing Cutler to Elway. Yes, it would be nice, but to expect that is setting the bar too high.
If we moved up to #6 and took Gaines Adams then I would expect him to be the next Simeon Rice. Taking Carriker 15 picks later is a whole different story.
Would you expect Jarvis Moss to be the next Jason Taylor? Just curious.

Although I think that he will go before our choice (somewhere in the 13 to 20 range) -- I really like it when a player stands out at the Senior Bowl. Carriker probably moved up from the end of the 2nd round to a mid-first round pick with his 6 days of work

That didn't seem like a good comparison at first ... but after I thought about it, it makes alotta sense. Both are tall and strong with better run that pass rush skills ... and you're right. They both move a bit stiffly.

You don't think I know that? They wouldn't be getting into physical fights if it was just for friendship.
