Dammit! Say it ain't so, Sly!! Is anyone legit anymore? I know everyone has suspected Sly before as no 60 yr old men can maintain that kind of physique, but come on.

If it was a "brotha" from the hood, he'd get 20 years, while releasing the pedophile to make room for him.

If thats the case, why isn't Leonard Little in jail for killing someone?

Wow I'm shocked... NOT

what i am shocked about is...."48 vials of the human growth hormone product Jintropin" was he trying to supply the entire entourage?

He probably had multiple charges and the system needed something to put him away for.

He probably used one a month or so, I think that is the dosage used in Body Building.

Shocking News. Whats next, Arnold wasn't natural?

He'll probably produce a prescription for it, which is easy to get.

BTW... the dosage is much higher than one a month, more like 4-8 iu's 2 times a day.

Big deal. He's not an athlete. He's not competing in anything. Who gives a rats? hmmm...

Each vial is 10 IU's. he probably does somewhere in the rage of 5-10 IU's a week, could be more if he is prepping for a movie role. Still is about a 6-12 month supply... but, not as shocking as i first thought.

If it was for a movie it was probably closer to bodybuilding type doses, 4-8 a day, 5 days on 2 days off...

The charge of illegaly importing the substance is serious. However, the fact that he uses it is not. Who really cares?

It is an illegal substance. if he was Joe Hardnutz at Gold's Gym he would have a serious legal problem on his hands.

Sly will be tried as a celebrity, if he's tried at all.

Wow... I didn't relize they were going that high on HGH. Last dosage i saw was 5on/2off @ 4 IU's per day. just my opinion but 8 IU's sounds like suicide... any idea how they keep their blood preassure in check? Spironolactone or hydrochlorothiazide use???

well that pretty much sucks. I don't care if he's uses it, or if any other non athlete uses it. It's dumb to even care if people aren't using them to cheat in professional sports, it's their body, leave it to them. I've never liked it when stuff is made illegal "for our own good." Let us be the judge of what we want to take or not.

What's a pedifile?

It's what women use when their feet get a bit keratinized. They use it to file down some of the buildup...particularly noticeable from bad fitting high heels...;)

And I hate it when people assume their decisions to take risks happen in a vacuum. That in a society as interconnected as the modern Western world that the concept of a man (or woman) as an island is laughable.

If nothing else the higher insurance rates that will occur when yahoos decide "it's my life" and incur large medical expenses.

Go to any wellness clinic in the USA, HGH use/perscriptions are at an all time high for regeneration or reversing the aging effect.... As well as getting bigger and better in sports and recovery time after workouts.

Yes time to end the Fatties. A 1,000 Calorie Meal Maximum.

Plus a board of Life Extension, I would like them to say who can and can't live past 65 and eat up social Security.

Then let's outlaw every other form of self abuse that people can do. Let's outlaw fast food, ciggarettes, alcohol, and cars. Let's outlaw tanning because it causes cancer. Every single one of these activities causes and will continue to cause more death and increased medical expenses tha something like hgh would. Do athletes and their annual surgeries increase the rest of our health insurance cost? Of course not. The insurance argument when it comes to legalizing potentially iffy substances makes about as much sense as trickle down economics. Chaos theory doesn't apply here.

Spiro is popular but its more commonly used to control DHT rather than blood pressure. Most don't experience huge rises in blood pressure beyond the elevated levels that are experienced with hormnal steroids. But it's a risk. Another risk of that type of use is it generally requires the use of T3 to combat the shut down in the thyroid. which leads to a whole group of additional risks...

What's scarier is that most bodybuilders in CA. use it in their "off cycle" stacked with insulin. Quite the potential killer cocktail...

Get real. Apollo Creed would whup your ass in five seconds and he's been dead since Rocky VIII.

What a b**** (former Raider linebacker) Carl Weathers was, letting himself get killed, in an exhibition bout, by a Russian Swede as slow as a glacier.

I'm definately familiar with the T3 usage, especially during precontest cycles. Insulin is prety much used all year anymore (explains Ronnie colman hitting almost 300lbs contest weight)

I'm still real suprised with the high doages of HGH... I wonder if they are doing that for the elevated IGF-1 levels without having to pay the fee for IGF-1 alone. Amazing how hight the stacks have gone in just the last decade.

Why wouldn't they? If an athlete is shooting up and develops various ailments that require major surgery..why wouldn't they cost their insurance oodles of money?

And I'm all for outlawing booze, cigs, and fast food if we could get away with it. As we know almost for a fact that all that would do is just create a horrible black market for those products (like current illegal drugs only times 1000), I see no recourse.

But that ain't because the idea of limiting their usage is bad, only that it would be impossible to uniformly police.
