Denver had 2 1's and was going to use one on a receiver?

He hsant ever really stayed healthy, but he is a top notch WR, better than anyone on ur roster now for sure.

What about the rumor that you guys were going to make a run on Donald Driver?

NE front office is very very astute.

This and the Welker trade will definitley end the Moss to NE rumors. I think Welker is a great fit for the Pats. Stallworth will help stretch the field.

Um....J-Walk is better than Stallworth! Stallworth was a career number 2 whereas J-Walk has been to the probowl. What are you talking about.

Also I could make the case that Rod Smith from the superbowl years to the 2005 year was MUCH better than Stallworth. BUt not anywore so I guess not.

Wat you smokin?

All Ludo said was that Stallworth was a good signing for the Pats and eventhough he doesn't stay healthy he is still better than anyone they currently have.

Look tough on paper, but injuries and bad bounces are in play for anyteam. Brady could easily get hurt and they could go 5-11.

It doesn't matter how much talent you have if your hammy is a ticking time bomb that can blow any time. He's had a bad hammy his whole career. Great explosive talent when healthy. If he can get that hammy to stop acting up, he has as much talent as anyone.

If I were him, I would of chosen a warmer, dryer place than cold damp NE. When healthy, he's a true go the distance guy on any play. I'm on record as being very high on him in the draft and catching grief about him. It's not the talent or the work ethic or legal problems. It's that hammy. Shrewd move...I was going to mention his availability but evidently we didn't have any interest. I'm surprised Minnesota didn't make a play...he would of been lighting fast on that indoor surface.

It still wouldnīt be dumb to take one in the first as this WR class is quite something. What do you see the Pats doing with the 2 first rounders now that youīve signed a WR and LB in Free Agency? If you stay put, what do you think theyīll be trying to get? Trading both could net you the eight pick according to the Value Chart ... thatīd put you in LaRon Landry (impact Safety from LSU who has the potential to become as good as Ed Reed, Sean Taylor or Troy "my hair is so long people tackle me by it" Polamalu, just in case you donīt follow CFB much) territory.

The dream would be Lb Willis and s Nelson. More likely it will be Nelson (who just came in for a visit) and a Cb.

Thatīs unless we snag Nelson at 21 :)

I kinda have my eye on Nelson also.

And why is Zack so angry in the picture? You need to get a better cam or get better at taking pictures, btw. :)

That was taken before his first game ever against the Lions this year. Outside the stadium they have the Patriots version of the Nfl expereince where you run and tackle on inflatable dummies. Thats where this picture was taken. I told him to put his best "game face" on. I took on a throwaway camera. I also put his name up on the scoreboard the same game congratulating him on his first Pats game. The team sent me a nice photo of it.

The signing was a good idea, but the real question is going to be how Wes Welker performs. If he can be a Deion Branch type player then Stallworth is a big pickup. I'm not really sold on the guy as a #1 but as a #2 he's very good when healthy.

I'd personally give you $50 if either of those players are wearing a Pats uniform next year unless you trade up. No way in hell either player hits the mid 20's. Infact I'd bet both are gone before we pick at 21.

Yeah, they now have Stallworth. A guy with great talent but never really healthy. Doesn't seem like a "Patriot" to me. Same for Chad Jackson. Welker is definitly a Patriot, but they sure did spend A LOT to get him.

As long as they have Brady and a strong O-line they will be pretty good. Maroney will be a good player for a while. We'll see how this signing pans out.
