McMICHAEL AGREES WITH RAMS

A league source tells us that tight end Randy McMichael has agreed to terms with the Rams. Under the three-year, $11 million deal, McMichael will receive a $3 million signing bonus, and salaries of $1.5 million in 2007, $2.9 million in 2008, and $3.6 million in 2009.

Given that McMichael was due to earn $4 million from the Dolphins this year, the release resulted in $500,000 in extra money for the veteran tight end.

If, if PFT is correct, that's a real good pickup for them... Just have to keep my fingers crossed on whoever replaces Timmerman @ guard... Now if that defense could learn to tackle they'll be in decent shape...

What can I say, the Rams have been my adopted NFC team, Broncos always come first of course! ;D

I was hoping Klopfenstein was gonna see more balls thrown his way. and they also have Dominique Byrd ...

Thats a pretty cheap contract. Makes sense as he's a one dimensional pass catching TE who isn't even that great at that but I can see why we were in on him, thats a very palatable deal.

Bulger drops back to pass...He looks...Bennett, Holt and Bruce are all covered, and Steven Jackson is tied up...He dumps it off to McMichael!

What a great signing.
