This could mean they are Super Bowl bound!!

Chiefs sign long snapper
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — The Kansas City Chiefs signed long snapper Jean-Philippe Darche to a four-year contract Wednesday.
Darche, a native of Montreal, played in 97 games over seven seasons with Seattle. An unrestricted free agent, he had 18 tackles on special teams and played in five postseason games, including Super Bowl XL.
He likely replaces longtime long snapper Kendall Gammon, an unrestricted free agent.

Damn Petersons really taking care of business this off season. Everyone knows KC was only a long snapper away from winning the division last year.

When I saw the words 'Darche' and 'Long Snapper' I automatically thought you were talking about your animated sig. Maybe she played in the lingerie bowl or something?

Everybody in the AFC West is scared with what the Chiefs are doing this offseason. I mean, signing McIntosh and Harris, and now this long snapper? Plus resigning Huard, and now they are gonna "stockpile" a pick from TrINT Green.
The rest of the AFC West is DOOMED

Ya know it is interesting. I am not going to knock your moves this offseason because I think they are good ones for the most part. But can we just cast aside this whole "heavy activity in FA automatically makes you a better team" thing. If FA signings were locked into automatic improvement then the Redskins would be quite the dynasty. There will be good teams that made jumps in FA this offseason...there will be good teams that had pretty laid back FA activity. The same people mocking all of this would be the same people to rush to tell us we overpaid for x player.

All that aside I caught some blurbs from a guy who is usually pretty informed on the Chiefs. Take it for what it is worth you know how this stuff goes...

He said that trades are coming, Herm wants to stockpile draft picks, he also said that there is the potential blockbuster that could happen, he was asked if it was LJ and he said he would just leave it at that, but he did say that some other popular players other than LJ could be traded.

Herm has made it clear that if you want a big contract you have to be a team leader on and off the field, he is using the Patriots as his model team.

Well looks like Shanny has to build for the future now. Could KC be considered a dynasty in the making after this move?

Super Bowl, Super Bowl, Super Bowl

They chant it every November or early December. Between this long snapper, their re-tread linebacker from the Vikings, and their douche-bag running bag that has pissed off most of his team and all of his linemen, the draft is just gravy for a power house that will shake the foundations of time and space.

They're joking around and having a little fun. What the hell do you think is going on? You better just stick with your one word reply posts, you're much better at them. Meh. Heh.

Tomorrows headline:

In a stunning move the KC Chiefs made what some around East Kansas and West Missouri are calling the coup of the year. They landed one of the most coveted free agents this off season, long snapper Jean-Philippe Darche. Carl Peterson says, "The minute the regular season ended we penciled him in as our top acquisition during Free Agency." The long snapper is a very important position. They tend to be a locker room leader and those 8 maybe 10 plays per game are the ones that change seasons. Unfortunately, one chief is very upset. Larry Johnson feels like he can't relate to this white long snapper. When he was informed that he is actually a French Canadian Larry Johnson proceeded to choke Herm Edwards. Still look for Kansas City to make a big splash this season based on this one move.

HAHAHA

Yeah having this snapper on the same team with Bob's punter should just about seal the fate of the rest of the NFL. Give them the trophy now.

If you folks really thinks he gets irritated by all of this then I don't know what to tell you. If that were the case he wouldn't be around...if you are talking about him, he loves it. He is the biggest attention whore on the internet and you folks feed him daily.

That's all true but watching him squirm gives many of us just as much joy. His predictions and his idiocy; Bob is caricature of himself and many here find the irony of the whole situation hilarious. The rest have him on ignore.

Bob hates me because I constantly call him on his bull**** and lack of football knowledge all the time, he hates having his credibilty attacked. You should see the way Bob flips out on me sometimes, it's some of the funniest stuff I've ever seen.
