Each of the contestants gets ONE VOTE to cast against any other contestant.

The player receiveing the MOST votes this round will be the BIG LOSER and sentenced to LIFE IN PRISON WITHOUT THE POSSIBILITY OF PAROLE.

"L-Wopped" for those of you who like your shorthand.

The BIG LOSER cannot, under any circumstances, win the game. But, as detailed in the Rules, s/he will be able to exert some influence over the outcome as the game proceeds.

And I'm sure that we'll have at least two or three people who want to wait until the last second. And we'll probably have one or two folks who miss the deadline completely. This always seems to happen.

Nonetheless, if you want to make sure your vote gets in, allow yourself plenty of time before the deadline hits.

Round Two results will be posted sometime after Noon on Friday, and Round Three will start before 1:00 p.m. Friday. The deadline for Round Three will be Noon on Monday, so you should have the whole weekend to take care of any residual plotting.

I'm going to keep this quick and simple, 'cause I have to be shoving off for awhile.

VOTES FOR ROUND TWO ARE DUE BY NOON, FRIDAY.

Any probationer who misses the deadline for round two, or who casts an illegal vote, WILL BE ELIMINATED.

Now, here's the hard stuff.

Every player is a legitimate target this round, except for yourself, and except for HOTROD, who is doing life in the big house.

There are two ways in which you can vote.

The Saturday Night Special.

If you cast ONE and only one vote, then you will also be entitled to ignore one vote (or wound, as I like to think of them) against you. So, if you should fire off only one vote with your Saturday Night Special, and you get shot five times in return, it will be treated as if you only took four votes (wounds) against you.

- OR -

The Tommy Gun.

You can cast up to three votes this round, in any combination you choose. (All 3 against one player, or one against three different players, or whatever) You do NOT get the defensive bonus if you do this, though. In other words, you do not get to ignore any of the votes against you.

THE TOP TWO VOTE-GETTERS WILL BE KILLED.

They will have a limited chance for revenge in Round three. (See the general rules thread for more detail on that.)

Also, be aware that any family that has a member killed this round will be immune from being voted against in ROUND 3.

I have received a couple of excellent questions. I will paraphrase them.

What happens if someone is disqualified due to missing the deadline? Do we still eliminate two "active" players? Or just one? How does immunity work in that situation?

Answer. First thing I will do is to kill the top two vote-getters, whoever they are. Then I check for any "survivors" who need to be disqualified for sloppiness. So, if a sloppy player is also the person who is one of the two top vote-getters in a round, he is considered "killed." His family WILL get immunity for the next round, and despite the fact that he doesn't really deserve it, he WILL get to finger someone in revenge (if he even bothers to do so).

If the "sloppy" player is NOT one of the two top targets, then, after the dead guys are announced, the "sloppy guy" is simply banished from the game. His family does NOT get immunity and he does NOT get revenge. He sleeps quietly with the fishes.

So, I say this to all of youse. Ease up on Conklin. He ain't a bad kid and has learned the error of his ways. He's a good family man.
