Just to clarify and make sure everyone understands ...

1. We will be killing two people a round for at least the next four rounds. It will probably go on lot longer than that.

2. If a member of your family is killed in a round, then all members of that family will have immunity from death (but not from going to prison) the following round.

3. Players in prison do not share in any immunity that their former families might enjoy. Nor is that immunity shared by players who have escaped from prison by entering "Witness Protection."

4. Killing a player in prison, or in witness protection, confers no immunity on their former family.

5. Players in prison are more or less neutral free agents. Anyone can try to kill them, including the BIG LOSER who can strike with three shivs ... uh ... I mean ... votes per round against fellow inmates.

6. An imprisoned player who has spent one round applying for witness immunity (instead of casting his one paltry vote), begins the next round in the protection program. He can be targeted by anyone except the BIG LOSER. He can also be sent back to prison by getting "fingered" again.

7. But any player who starts the round in the Witness Protection Program AUTOMATICALLY deprives all of his former family members of any immunity to which they might otherwise be entitled for that round.

Moral of the story ... if one of your former family members is headed for Witness Protection, you probably want to persuade him to stay in the clink. Or slit his throat, or whatever. Because if the ratfink bastard gets into Witness Protection, you can kiss your immunity goodbye.

By the same token, if someone ELSE's former family member is headed toward Witness Protection, it's often in your interest to keep the ratfink bastard alive as long as possible. In fact, it's even better if you can figure out a way to make him breed other ratfink bastards, because you DON'T WANT the other families to get immunity. The more immunity they get, the more bullets that will be coming your way!

We're not doing bad. Only three rounds in and the competitive field has been reduced from 31 to 24. 4 dead, 2 banished, 1 Lwopped. That's almost 1/4 of the players who couldn't make their way to Round 4!!!!

If we stay on track, we can kill eight more by Friday and be down to our sweet sixteen!

Yes, you can do an Iraqi style celebration with your SMG, by firing 1 or 2 shots into the friggin' air, so long as you shoot at least one of the three bullets into someone.

Its interesting to note the Protection racket has been especially hard hit.

And to answer the question about being fingered, when that happens your votes (all of them) are nullified that round (you are being arrested and processed before you can shoot). You get one vote the following round from prison.

What I want to know is why didn't Mediator vote? Was it on purpose for some sort of strategy, or did he just miss it? He seemed to have been pretty active prior to the vote, so it doesn't make sense that he would just forget about it. But it makes even less sense for him to miss it on purpose.

The first few rounds of this were sort of uneventful. Now, the game seems to have gathered a little steam.

I find that the best way to find survivor sucess is to lay low. Dont talk to much and dont make any alliance or friends. They will just backstab you anyway. I've pretty much made the finals on my quiet out of the spotlight approch.
