Which of the options do you want to see as the next Denver RB?

Henry wouldn't cost a draft pick...

1st choice: Thomas Jones & draft one
2nd choice: Travis Henry & draft one
3rd choice: Just draft a stud rb already

I do not want some other teams cast off. If they were all that great the team would not cut them or be will to trade them.

I'll take my chances on Shanny and company Picking a RB in the draft.

Buckhalter would be a good pickup for you guys. :D

Sure, guaranteed he wouldn't be higher than #2 on the depth chart though... we do need 2 RB's to make up for losing Nash though.

Notice there has been absolutely zero talk about Ricky Williams. Not saying we should or would get him, just saying it has been extremely quiet.

I want M. Lynch but that is not gonna happen, so Antonio Pittman in the 2nd!

Travis Henry, he's the best or second best back on that list (Thomas Jones) and doesn't require trade compensation. He's perfect for our system too, good vision, explosive, stocky and tough. He'll get turned downhill and run people over.

If we get someone like Henry, we can go back to finding our diamonds in the rough and use the high picks for areas of bigger need where vets are more expensive. Henry and Bell in the backfield with a 4th rounder would be a plenty competent RB corps. Decent RBs are also a lot cheaper than decent DL, we outta get the best DL we can on the rookie contract and pick up RBs cheaper in FA. It just makes sense to get cheap positions through FA and use the draft for the expensive ones.

Out of those, imo, Thomas Jones is clearly the best.

Ahman Green... Cheaper than Henry, has run in this system last year, and won't cost us a draft pick.

Just say no to Lewis, McGahee and Buckhalter. After that, it doesn't really matter to me...

Cheaper than Henry? Last time I looked Green wanted 5 mil a year. I hope Henry doesnt want more. Personally I want Thomas Jones and draft a scrub late. Green second and draft a rb early.Henry 3rd and draft a rb early. I am just scared on Henry screwing up and being out for a year.Broncos have some the wierdiest crap happen to them so I wouldnt be surprised.

i was pimping pittman a few weeks ago but the nfl.com scouting report really changed my mind about him: it basically said(obviously positives, but i am focusing on the negatives) he doesnt like watching film, translation: not smart, not a student of the game. also said he doesnt like the weight room and thats why he isnt stronger, not good. so this made me rethink him and im not sure i want a runner who relies so much on god given ability instead of doing everything he can to get better...i know he's still good, but this brought be back down to earth about him
