I really believe that we will draft Jackson with our first third rounder.

Sporting News, what you've just submitted is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent mock were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this forum is now dumber for having read it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

That 1st round pick would be a major reach.

Out of all the Huskers in the draft I think Jackson has the best chance to be a Bronco. He catches the ball better then both Bells, faster then Mike and stronger then Tatum.

Watch some of the down field catches he makes plus he looks to hit people while running with the ball.

ESPN Scouts updated their draft ratings for almost all the prospects now! Brandon Jackson is rated as the 3rd overall running back now behind AD and Lynch. He has a score of 85 out of 100.

The only thing that's not "first round" with Jackson is his pure speed. He's one of the strongest DB's in the draft, as well as one of the best tackling DB's in the draft. He might be a FS/CB combo, not unlike Marlin Jackson (basic comp). I wouldn't be completely adverse to picking a guy like Tanard Jackson early, based off what the rest of the board looks like.
The last three first day picks make that draft very desirable to me, though. Every single pick is an impact prospect (IMO anyways).

With most of the recent mocks having us taking a CB when does a mock come out that has us trading to get another 1st rounder so we can take a CB and TE? Since thats what they have us drafting every year except this one ;D

Kiper had him rated as the #3 back the day he declared.

I almost want to believe it as well. Its hard because I am a Husker fan but I think he runs hard and catches well. He's a complete back.

It's good to have consensus.

That looks about right for a Broncos odd year draft.

I prefer Pittman over Jackson because Pittman seams to fit the Broncos zone blocking scheme as a one cut and go runner. Jackson would make a good 2 or 3 round pick with the broncos drafting him as a fs and special team ace.

You know, the first time I watched this video (on another thread), I wasn't impressed. But, it's funny if you look at his number (32). He playes a lot like Edgerrin James. Not really flashy, but always picks up the extra yards he needs. Won't go down easily, stays in the open field for a check-down pass, then catches and runs well. If coached well, I think he could be very much like Edgerrin.

He doesn't run out either he will cut in to hit the guy nearest him. I love that about him.
