Shanahan is on EVERY teams wish list.
Unless Shany wants to leave, he isnt going anywhere anytime soon.

Gee, that's great to know. I bet Bill Belichick is on there too. A house on on Maui is on my personal wish list. This is all really helpful.

That Sean sure works hard. Hopefully this didn't impinge on his regular schedule of weinie wagging.

I have an insider that claims Spanos is trying to schedule an interview with Vince Lombardi - he's apparently on the short list of candidates. No word yet on whether Lombardi is returning Spanos' calls.

Makes sense for Sean to say this stuff. Every year he has Shanny getting fired or he's going to move on.

Damn it Dom why do you have to steal all the good jokes. I was actually thinking of this before I read you post but I was going to use Tom Landry instead of V. Lom.

Aw Sean is just kidding ya. He'll put in a call to Spanos to remind him Shanahan can't win without Elway. That's his Shanahan mantra.

I had completely forgotten that Salisbury ended his career in San Diego. That would explain his infatuation with everything Charger. He's the perpetuator of the "best team ever not to make the playoffs" stuff and goofball statements like this one.
Shanahan has no reason to ever leave Denver. Bowlen has given him the keys to the kingdom.

I don't think his career in SD ended on what you would call a happy note.

I dont think you can call anything a happy note when it includes that walking penis with ears. Out of everyone at espn he pisses me off the most.

Yeah this has real credibility - Shanny would just LOOOOVE to be dictated to by some jerkoff of a GM. Hoo-Haa!!Booya!
Talk about the kind of situation Shanny would at all costs NOT want to contemplate entering, even if he was likely to move, which he ain't......:welcome:
Living in the UK I've never seen Sailsbury on TV, but I think there might be a picture of him in the dictionary next to the term "Mindless Ape-Creature"

I do believe Shanahan is ready to give up ultimate power in Denver to go be AJ's beotch.
Makes perfect sense Seanie.

By chance did SD put that information in memo, so Shanahan can turn them in for tempering.

AJ: So, Mike, would you like to come to SD? Its real nice here, sun, beaches, all types of stuff...
Mike: Will I have full power over personnel and coaches?
AJ: No.
Mike: How about staffing? Draft day decisions? Cap?
AJ: No. But Sean Salisbury says you would like it...
Mike: Oh, in that case...

Spanos is 84. He'll be able to personally interview Vince in hell pretty soon.

I'm sure Shanny would jump at the chance to work for an owner like Spanos and a GM that won't even talk to the coach much less give him a high five for a 14-2 regular season. All that sun in SD must have fried their brains. Oh and look how they treated Brees and Junior. LT needs to relocate that NO CLASS organization to the punks running his team.

Salisbury is an idiot....he also is pimping Denny Green for the job because he wants to be on the staff...he was offered the QB coach job for AZ when Green became coach but turned it down...I guess he realizes his time maybe coming to an end at ESPN considering he is useless.

This is an amazing coincidence, because I was about to report that LaDanian Tomlinson is on Shanahan's wish list... ;)

That's it someone make a poll. Yes or No for trading Shanahan to SD for Tomlinson. SD would have to throw in some picks probably. ROFL!
