Hey hey HEY everybody -

SO, here's the Deal. I won a 4-pack of tickets yesterday morning from The Fan, and it looks like I'll be hootin and hollerin with thousands of Rednecks in the area come sunday around 2ish.

Yes, it is a Monster Truck Rally.

Used to be a HUGE bigfoot fan back in the day, but then Girls came along and trucks were quickly forgotten.

Just a few questions for you all out there:

1) Is this going to be a big waste of a few hours?

2) If I show up in my sandals, will I get my ass kicked by mullet jocking confederate flag wearing hicks? (I'm actually a quarter hick somewhere deep down inside i think, but the hippie/drunkard usually shines through most of the time)

3) Has anyone ever sat in a 950 the fan sponsored suite before?
When i picked up the tickets today, I had to sign a little waiver. Apparently, there's going to be some "non-civillian" types (corporate big wigs and reps i'm guessing)in there with us, and they don't wants us lower class folk upsetting them with our obnoxious behavior. And by obnoxious behavior I mean drunkeness. And by drunkeness I mean probably going to pound a handle of something cheap so we don't get gouged at the Can.

Basically, just looking for some advice on what to expect at my First Monster Truck Rally EVER!

I'm actually pretty stolked.

Any advice would be wonderful.

Cheers for now

;D

ive been twice in the last 2 months, my kids love it, 5 girl and 3 boy, the first hour is a waste cuz the trucks just race around crushing a few cars, but the last hour when they do freestyle is the fun part. Earplugs yes but i would get headphone type ones for the kids depending on how small they are, is it ever a waste of time taking your kids out for fun, if your not taking kids then yes it will be a waste of time.
