If he is the driver, maybe he's negotiating a shorter prison term in exchange for the name of the shooter? Otherwise, the article is pretty vague.

9News said they've been told Clark is the driver, so if that's true, the unidentified person is either the shooter or someone else in the car.

Progress is good. I know this isn't the type of case police give up on, but I was geting discouraged now that it has been over a month.

Good to hear that there is some progress. I hope these cowards get what is coming to them.

If they get nothing after three months, then it gets harder and harder to solve. I am happy they have something tho.

From what they said on news on last night... supposedly a local high powered attorney has been bargaining for immunity for his client in regards to the D-Will murder.

Apparently those talks broke off and the police are trying to get at the guy through another way. -- Mainly being able to collect the DNA samples. I'm sure they will try to tie the suspect to the vehicle.

Seems like the police want to be able to arrest the guy and not grant immunity to anyone in this case. Which, with public sentiment is probably a good idea.

Sounds like they know who it is so hopefully its only a matter of time.

I agree with this tack. It may be more difficult, but none of these slime should get immunity.

It seems to me that if someone in the car is looking for a deal, he probably isn't long for this world. These guys don't seem to respect human life much - I would assume they wouldn't have any problem keeping someone like that silent.

That attorney is a scum bag trying to get the guy immunity, **** that. No plea bargain either, string them all up by their balls so their homies can see how they roll.

If Clark was the driver...how can he not have any news regarding the shooting.

This is exactly what I heard last night on channel 4. Suspect we'll see some guys in cuffs soon.

That's what defense attorneys do. You won't think that way if you ever need one.
