The Wisconsin State Journal reports Brett Favre would like to see the Packers upgrade their offensive personnel, perhaps by trading for disgruntled Oakland receiver Randy Moss. Favre has always liked Moss, who was once represented by Bus Cook, Favre's agent, but it's unclear what the Raiders would want in return.

Thompson said he didn't make Favre any personnel-related promises when they talked Friday - "He didn't ask for any, either," Thompson said - but in a conversation late last week, coach Mike McCarthy reportedly told Favre that improving the offensive skill positions is a priority this offseason.
There you go Davis!!!!! use the power of the favreland to get a 1st round pick from GB.

The talk is that it would be a 3rd maybe a conditional 2nd.
ya no way randy moss garners a first round pick anymore...his career has taken a turn in a very wrong direction

a good move for both of their careers. We have to play GB this year, but im sure Champ can easily handle Moss.

I dunno. Would Moss be expected to actually play football in Green Bay? So far it seems he rather enjoys the money for nothing situation he has in Choketown.

Wouldn't it be great if Randy Moss and the Packer fans mooned the opposing team's bus as a united front.

Moss has to be a pot-head. I've never seen someone so content with mediocrity who wasn't baked.

But Randy was so happy when he was traded! He always wanted to be in Silver and Black...now he wants to be in Green and Lemon? It's funny how so many could see this coming.

Randy, if he actually played all out, imo is top 5, maybe top 3 WR in the league.

I wonder if FavreBean has heard of the "When the Gods want to punish you" theory....

very true. at one point he was the best, without question. and i think he still has that in him...i think he has just lost all motivation in oakland.

Wouldn't you lose your's if you were that talented and had that offense behind ya?

in any sport i played, i may not have been the most talented but i was always the last to give up....so i dont really sympathize with anyone who quits on their team, play hard and if needed ask for a trade. teams respect effort and leadership and class (the way we treated lelie vs. the way we will treat plummer)

I don't want him on my team but I bet Moss has a lot of great football in him.

He'll turn only 29 in 8 days. Someone will deal with the Raiders.

I think if you have a team that is keeping him busy and winning games he could be a great player...if not? Well, ask the Raiders.

That's one of the funniest posts I've seen in awhile. What an image.

On the surface it sounds like a pretty decent idea, but I really doubt Moss would be happy in Green Bay. His malingering and pouting wouldn't fly there and he would become a hate mail magnet.

If I was the Bears, I'd do everything I could to get Moss, especially if they're going to stick with Grossman. That guy just starts heaving them deep when he goes on tilt, and they need someone who can raise the percentages on those prayers.

I think Moss ****s a brick with Grossman back there.
