The old School quarter backs (bradshaw, unitas, starr) can't even begin to hold a candle to the modern age ones. They played the game really-well to amazing for their era, but there's no way to project how they would perform in the modern game.

Look I love me my Broncos as much as if not more than the next man on this forum, but the players are what they are/were. Elway is one of the greatest football players ever, just like Bradshaw and Aikman, but when you ask who are the greatest QB's ever, I defer to Marino, Manning, and Montana.

Montana by the #'s is a better QB than John Elway. Even with a 1850 yard rusher behind him, Elway's numbers still weren't as good as Montana's comparing thier best seasons. I ranked Elway #1 just because he is my favorite player ever, but Montana is the best all-time QB imo.
