I get a little tired of all the non football related awards based on character. Just like Warren Moon winning one once then beating his wife. You just don't know people well enough most of the time. Having said that Lynch seems to be highly respected and is very well spoken, gives to the Charity and has never been busted by cops. For sure it is great that he finishing career in Denver. We were very lucky he picked Denver over the NY Jets.

The last guy to win the Bart Starr Award in South Florida was Eugene Robinson in January of 1999. Later that night, he got arrestedLOL

It's going to be a sad day when him and Rod retire. Hopefully at least some of the stuff these 2 have been teaching and doing are rubbing off on the young guys.

That's the stuff I'm talking about. It is really hard to know people you don't have a very close relationship with. Far too often people are wolves in sheeps clothing.

I don't think Rod Smith has rubbed of on any of the WR he's played with the last few years. For sure he didn't rub off on Quiterson, Lelie, Mcgriff, etc etc etc. Not one Bronco WR outside of Eddie Mac in that last 10 years has showed the sort of heart Rod Smith always displays. Hopefully Walker and Marshall buck that trend.
