They're OK, but man what a bad week for Melo. Four game losing streak, snubbed for the All-Stars and then JR wrecks his car. I guess it's good to get all that bad punch kharma over with all at once. Here's the link:

Since this is pretty much a "nothing to see here" thread, I wanted to ask whether or not LeBron James is going to be suspended for clotheslining Dwayne Wade last night. It wasn't malicious or anything, he was just trying to foul him to stop the clock, but he did take him down hard. If Kobe catching Ginobli in the mug with an elbow is worth a game, that certainly was as well.

Come on Stern, your theme for this season has been gross overreaction, don't let us down. Suspend King James and let everyone know that you're the boss and that any contact that even appears harsh will result in swift action from your mighty office.

Unless your name is KG.

But anyways, on Around The Horn today, one of the columnists mentioned that Stu Jackson said the reason for Kobe's suspension was due to him catching Manu above the shoulders, and anytime that happens, a suspension is likely.

So if that does indeed hold, there's really no reason why LeBron shouldn't be suspended.

Well Manu Ginobli knee'd Amare in the balls last night, if thats not deserving of a fine or suspension i dont know what is.

The Nuggets will never get any respect unless they win a title. Over 30 points a game doesn't equal being an all star? Not even a reserve?

The NBA's a bigger joke than the pro bowl.

Guys a flop queen and an elbow queen, which he never gets called for. When I watch the Spurs I just want one of the bigs from the opposition to grab that nutjob by the hair and throw him.

So if Carmello Anthony was driving I have one question.

After he hit them did he run back to halfcourt like a pansy?

Possibly, but I'll bet he didn't run quite as fast as Tomlinson did to avoid shaking hands with the Patriots.

Comparing Carmello to LT is a complete joke. Anthony is a known punk. Why do you think he got left off the all star game roster?

I was just comparing their running styles, that's all. Carmelo hit and ran, LT ran and cried.

Since when does that prevent anyone from being an All Star? It wouldn't be too hard to name a variety of punks in the NBA big game would it?

You know, Anthony did his time. Denver didn't squeal or cry, or ask for reviews, or appeal, or try to bargain down the suspension. I don't believe the suspension Stern handed down was 15 games and no All Star berth.

It should be over.
