Oddly at one point on the news this morning I was the warmest spot in the state. (it kept going back and forth between me and Grand Junction) I honestly dont believe in all my life Gunnison was the warmest spot in the state EVER.

Of course by warm I mean 5 above with a -14 windchill which is really not to bad for Febuary 2nd

I don't think I want to swap heating bills with you, Spider.... although ours has been running higher than usual this winter, too. I'm getting very tired of snow, particularly if I have to drive in it. All I have to do is schedule a doctor or dentist appointment for one of the kids, and I'll guarantee you, it will snow that day. Argh! :P

The local news last night said that $300+ utility bills aren't unusual here in our area. Ours wasn't that high, but we usually turn the thermostat down to 60 or 65 at night and maybe 75 during the daytime. Of course, it had to be warmer when the kids were smaller... but now they're just told to put on a sweatshirt or jacket if they think the house is too chilly. LOL

Hopefully all's well with your family....

Yeah, they did good getting my starter replaced down there a few weeks ago... no complaints, but damn I wish I was able to get the gear reduction starter on there instead. That would've cost my company about $600 extra though lol

Anyones kids get pneumonia or bronchulitis? My 4 year old had it 2 weeks ago, spent 3 days in the hospital, and he gave it to my 18 month old, which also had bronchulitis. Docs say that crap is going around bigtime. Really pisses me off, have to keep everyone indoors as much as possible for the last 2 fckin months.

It is so important to get your Kids RSV shots , not so much after the age of 2 , but before the age of 2 , 1 shot per month helps ........ it is costly though , but well worth it

No kidding. It was 29 here in the valley on Tuesday and I headed up skiing where it was in the 40's. But that's bad for the skiing. This winter is really messed up. I'm sick of this cold and inversion. Everybodies sick. We got above 32 degrees for the first time today in a long time and there were people wearing shorts and the lines at the car wash were unreal.
