This was in the January issue of Mile High Sports Mag, which I finally got around to reading. The interview was done before the season ended so there's no Darrent stuff.

Interesting Shanahan facts:
-No coach in the NFL has won more games since he's become HC in Denver

-All 4 QBs who have started more than 5 games has a winning record (JE- .705, JP- .689, Frerotte- .571, and BG- .531)
How many did Bubby start? At least 4 in '98, any in '99?

-In the entire history of the NFL, just 4 coaches that have spent at least 10 seasons with a team have more championship seasons than losing seasons (Paul Brown, Gibbs, Madden, and Shanny).

-One of six coaches to win back-to-back Super Bowls

-Coached the franchise's all-time leading passer, rusher, and receiver

Interview highlights-

Key factors in the QB switch
-everyday evaluation going back to the offseason, same thing happened with Foster/Meadows

-didn't go to the vets before the move, went to some after and said why it was made

-anyone who thinks the team quit have no conception about the team and aren't around it. Mentioned Darrent's quote about people not playing at a certain level, in Darrent's mind he was completely misquoted, just wasn't media savvy when he opened his mouth.

-Jake handled the benching with classs, still put the team first

-said 10 years ago that Belichek, Cowher, and Fisher were the toughtest coaches to prepare for, still thinks it's the same three

Now that is a hell of a stat. Pretty damn amazing.

Bubby Started 4 in 1998, none in 1999. Chris Miller had 3 starts in 1999, all other games in 1999 Griese started.
