"If caught grilling or consuming alcohol within that one-mile radius of Dolphins Stadium, fans initially "will be warned and asked to pick up their things and leave," Fonticella said. "We're trying to make this a pleasant experience for everyone, and there will be plenty to do in the week leading up to the game."
Sure sounds like they are trying to make it a pleasant experience. I could just see some family of 4 being surrounded by police cars with the loudspeaker going off..."Sir put your hands on your head, step away from the grill"
I have a feeling Joe Cahn will have something to say about this.
FYI...It's illegal to tailgate in Denver as of next week. Just saw on the news that the police will ticket you if you are following within 200 feet of another car. How they are going to enforce that one is going to be interesting but they said they are going to.

I went to SB 36, 38, and 39 and there was no tailgating at any of them . This is the post 9/11 world we live in. They set up a wide fenced in perimeter around the parking lot of the stadiums where once inside (after going through metal detectors) you could buy beers, food ect...In New Orleans we walked over ,in Houston we took a rail system to get to the game and in Jacksonville we had to park in a Walmart parking lot 10 miles from the stadium and take a bus. It worked out ok gettting there but when the game was over and 60k + people went looking to take a bus (and we stayed in the stadium awhile for all the post game activities) it was the biggest cluster f I have ever seen. Imagine waiting in line with disgruntled Eagle fans where people were pushing and shoving for every bus that pulled up and you had no other option to get to your car. The only bummer part of the 3 awesome trips.

f-ING Terrorists. We should pull the troops and turn all that sand into glass, including Iran. If people delude themselves that Iran is enriching Uranium for nuclear power, and buying N. Korean missles for self defense are kidding themselves.
Of course they will build a nuclear plant...but it won't be for power as much as to produce Plutonium, which is even nastier than U235. When they are ready, the will feign some excuse to lob one or two into Tel Aviv.

They have a new radar gun that measures distance between two moving cars now all they see is a cash cow but this really needed to be addressed. My number one pet peave is a ignorant dip stick riding my a**. And iam going to guess tailgating situations leads to roadrage or atleast start the altercations.

While they're at it, they need to pass a law protecting truckers from getting cut off... Washington has a law similar to what I'm talking about

I was behind a dump truck and in small print it said stay back 1 mile. Couldn't read it from 200 feet.

Weak
Is it just me, or does the NFL have no right to pull this kind of thing outside of the property of the stadium? I'm pretty sure the property owners just off the stadium will let tailgating happen on their lots. Efff the NFL. Bunch of control-freak idiots.
