I'm with you. I always look forward to Winter X. The freestyle sleds were cool, but I am disappointed they took out Moto Best Trick. It was my favorite. I dig the Mulisha boys.

This is actually the first year I've gotten into this. Don't know why, I'm always up at the mountain for all of the "pre x games" competitions and we always send several 'locals' to the X games. But, I'm looking forward to watching this year.

Tanner Hall is our local, so we always get pumped for his comp.

We've watched Shaun White since he was like 12 or 13 trying to just get into X, now he's the king. That's great. That kid's got a great personality.

I can't believe it, but I fell asleep and missed the second run for Skier pipe final last night. I thought for sure Simon Dumont had it with his first run, then I read in the paper, Tanner came back and got the gold. And I freakin missed it. Damnit.

Yeah I too have watched White when he started. Caz thats when I started, and i could not beleive a 12 yr old was even in the games!!

He seems like a nice guy too which is cool

I agree. I always thought so too. A lot of these athletes seem like they're very easy going and cool.

I've seen Tanner throw some tantrums a time or two though. I still can't believe he ever recovered from breaking both of his ankles.

You snowboarders are a crazy lot. ;D

I absolutely love this stuff too, just bums be out that it's so short!

LOL That's appropriate.

Unfortunately, some of them are really rude and discourteous. I've had them be rude to my kids and let them know exactly how I feel. I will admit though, I'm in awe of their skills. I know I couldn't do it. I'll stick with my skis.

if i learned to ski first i probably wouldnt have learned to board.

Its a blast tho, and sometimes i do get out of control. Thats how i killed my shoulder last weekend.

Came up put of the trees went off a jump a little crooked and it was too late, i was done.

What sucked is it happened on the first day, so i had to board with it all jacked up the rest of the weekend.! I was a lot easier on myself the rest of the weekend. ;D

but its too mcuh fun to stop! ;D

Shaun White makes 1080's look soooo easy and smooth. He is crazy.

Travis Rice did a double back flip today during the best trick comp, another sweet trick.

I saw it. It was spectacular. That skier X is crazy! It's like racing at Talladega only on skis! Wrecks everywhere.

I'm bummed for Shaun, although Fisher had a great run. Shaun didn't seem too happy. I've never seen him like that.
