Neveritt was just talking about a possible trade that would send Moss, Porter and the Raiders first pick in the draft for Michael Vick and the Falcon's first round pick. What do you think?

i don't know about the falcons eating two WR's like that - other than the 1st round pick.

If a trade could be worked out the Falcons will make the playoffs next year. Assumming the resign Matt Schaub.

Good trade for Atlanta.
Schaub would have Moss, Porter, Roddy White, Michael Jenkins, and Ashley Lelie.

I doubt they would resign Lelie if that trade went down.

I'd take Lelie back in a heartbeat. He could be a good #3 while Javon and Marshall are tearing it up at 1/2

In that case, I suppose the Falcons would use that pick for Adrian Peterson?

Hmm, a 1-2 punch w/ Norwood & Peterson would be good for them

That assumes that Vick has a ton of trade value, and he doesn't.

Not even crazy A$ D$v$s is that crazy ... though if he could get back into the thug/gang market of LA, Vick would have a certain fan appeal

Cutting or Trading Vick would cost the falcons $22+ mil against the cap... Vick is going nowhere

The falcons would take like a 30 million dollar cap hit if they traded him, its not going to happen.

thats if schaub can handle the pressure that comes with being a starting qb in the nfl ... he wouldnt be the first guy who looked good as a backup who failed as a full time starter

I don't see why Greasy Al would do this when he basically has a Jim Plunkett clone (who can throw even farther) in Lamarcus Russell waiting for him in the draft.
I don't think a new coach in Atlanta is going to scrap shop by moving to a new QB in his first year...

I heard Vick is going to player/head coach.
Expect a lot of quarterback draws...

bwhahaha!!
that makes more sense...I was wondering where this bit of news was going to help greasy Al get someone to head coach this disaster.

If Vick ever did go to Oakland, I wonder if Dan Reeves would get a call from The Greasy One.
I know it sounds ridiculous, but Reeves accepted the Senior Bowl coaching gig this weekend, and openly stated he is looking at it as a Head Coaching exhibition.
Vick also went on the radio, and to schmucks like Stephen A Douche, and stated that he misses Reeves, who he felt used him better than anyone else.
I would hate to see Dan in Sliver and Crack, but if he wants to be back in bad enough, his options will be limited. Most teams would not consider Danny Boy at the age of 63.
Hmm......

True, but Broncs are going to have to find a slot receiver this offseason if they are going to run 50% + 3 WR sets as planned.

If they trade all that for Vick, they deserve to languish in the cellar for the forseeable future.
There was a time when they decided that Randy Moss was worth giving up a package that included the 7th pick in the draft, so I wouldn't rule this out completely.

People said the same thing about Ian Gold, and he actually bashed the Broncos pretty good after he left.

lol no doubt...and for some reason, the Broncos gave Gold $8 million for no reason at all.....hell, he was doubling as his agent.
I could see the same scenario playing out this offseason

That's not correct. The Falcons have already paid out around $32 million of his bonus. They still owe hiim about $5 million plus on his signing bonus and that's usually the only garaunteed money on these NFL contracts. Realistically they could probably trade him and spread that over a couple more years. If Davis wants him he can get him.
I still remember when he beat us like a dime store drum a couple years ago and went off for about 160 on the ground...I'd just as soon he stays in Atlanta.
