The NFL has rejected Britney Spears' request to be in a Super Bowl commercial to tout the NFL Network, the New York Daily News reported Tuesday.

"She's too much of a train wreck. Besides, we already have Paris Hilton," the Daily News cited its source as saying.

The commercial will feature L.L. Cool J and country band Rascal Flatts and will be a celebrity cast of characters showing up for Chad Johnson's Super Bowl party.

Earlier this month, Spears put fans on notice: Be prepared for her hot career comeback.

"The last couple of years have been quite a ride for me, the media has criticized my every move and printed a skewed perception of who I really am as a human being," the 25-year-old pop star/tabloid target wrote on her Web site.

Spears, who filed for divorce in November from Kevin Federline, 28, her husband of two years, says she is now more mature and free to explore her next move "as an entertainer with absolutely no strings attached."

"I look forward to coming back this year bigger and better than ever," writes Spears, who says she wants to go on tour and hopes her new album will be released later this year.

"I noticed today that one of my biggest fansites is shutting down soon and I want you all to know that I do understand all the reasons that went behind making that decision, and I am sad to see it closing," she writes. "If I were you I'd be unhappy too if I had to read what I've been reading every day."

Spears, the mother of 3-month-old Jayden James and 1-year-old Sean Preston, has drawn disapproval from fans and other Spears watchers for her recent nights out with party girls Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan. Her manager denied Monday reports that she had collapsed shortly after leading the New Year's Eve countdown in a Las Vegas nightclub.

Says Spears: "Trust me, I get it. I know I've been far from perfect."

Whenever I see her, I always think of Brando's line in "Last Tango in Paris"

"Honey, in ten years you'll be playing soccer with those t*ts."

So, Britney Spears is more of a train wreck than people like Kevin Federline and Paris Hilton? Seriously, can you imagine the diseases that unholy trinity carries amongst them?

Her children stand no chance in life.

The NFL has been whoring out it's halftime shows and commercials for years. If they would only do it with badass celebs and musicians instead of these things we have today.
