Griese is on call, Holmgren has eaten all he can fit into one morning, there's nothing else left to do but play some football!

I'm rooting for Seattle just because I want to see New Orleans play for the Super Bowl birth at home... and against Seattle.

It's allready Brian's fault.

My one fear is that Seattle pulls this game out and then Alexander runs wild over New Orleans next weekend and that joke of a team makes it to the Super Bowl for the second year in a row.

That's the best option I have seen in a poll in ages.

Hasselbeck is getting killed out there. The refs are letting the Bears get away with roughings and blows to the head. I am all for playing real football, but if everyone else in the league has to play with these BS rules, so do the Bears. The Bears are not exempt.

There was one play where the blows to the head were pretty obvious, and an automatic flag in about any other game played, they would have even called that against New England...

ro_50
01-14-2007, 01:52 PM
Remember, Rex Grossman did play in last year's playoff game against the Panthers and he did play well in that game. They lost cuz of Carolina's Steve Smith.

Grossman is playing well thus far but he is like a lot like Brett Favre, Again, I'm not saying he's as good as Favre is, but he's a gunslinger and you live and die w/ him on every play.

Hasselbeck just doesn't impress me... once in a great while he will pull a throw out of his ass where you say to yourself, "Wow, great pass, excellent touch." But the only thing that made that pass look so great is the 15 uninspiring ones before it.

Hey last night during the saints game the head coach for the saints had guys standing around him with towels to cover his hand signals. Do you think the eagles were reading lips? and the saints coach made a drastic change to counter there attempts to get his plays?

Wow. Alexander, even when injured, can run it in against a tough Chicago defense. He may have looked average between the 20's but he sure knows how to find the end zone. That's what seperates the good backs from the great ones. LT makes his living off of that. LJ as well.

We should really consider picking up a guy of his calibur.

We might just have the worst running backs in the league... Even Chicago's run game is working these days and they have had their share of busts.

I'm going to have to look at the rosters but i do believe we have bottom 1/3rd talent.. I know all about the stats, but that just goes to show you what we could be doing with more talent..

I dont get why the Bears D get the hype, they are a solid group but they do give up big plays in their cover 2 schemes to seasoned quarterbacks.

Look what happened to them last year when Steve Smith ate them up and the Seahawks are having their way w/ the so-called tough Bears D.

The injuries to Mike Brown and Tommie Harris have hurt them.

Maybe we can trade Plummer to Seattle for 2nd rounder.

Hasselbeck is younger than Plummer and has a better cumulative passer rating. I really wouldn't expect the Chickens to be among the teams that might show interest in Plummer. And I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for any team to trade us a high draft pick for him. Maybe if he had performed at a higher level this year... but as bad as he sucked, he'll be lucky to find a team that will give him a shot at the starting job at all. Maybe Oakland...
