These quick snaps on third down are suicide.

The Manning playoff INT ticker: It stands at 5 right now and counting....

But that was as good as a punt.

Clockwork Orange
01-13-2007, 07:10 PM
Ed Reed with another pick. Luckily for him Ray Lewis wasn't there to knock it away this time. He should have four of them today.

Manning now has 1 TD & 5 INT's in the postseason.

The Colts need a turnover now. Pressure on Mc Nair will do it.

Breck Bronc

Colts have had nothing on Offense last two games (OK, chiefs second half but that was alot on the CHiefs not having an offense). Is the Colts defense playing much better? If this keeps up, I cant see how Pats or the Chargers could lose. Ravens offense sucks and I cant see how the Chargers would fold like this. Oh wait, I know of one way......

ro_50

There was a receiver out to his right that he was trying to get it too. And the only reason it didnt make it to the line of scrimmage is because a player had a hold of his arm. Are you now proclaiming that everytime a Qb gets his arm hit or grabbed that it should be grounding?

Is it me or are the Colts doing what the 97 Broncos did. The Broncs had a legendary QB that had to get the monkey off its back and they started the season fast but stumbled down the wire and settled for a wild card spot and finished the regular season at 12-4, just like these Colts did.

Their was talk that the Broncs that year didnt stack up w/ the 13-3 Chiefs and yet went into Arrowhead and won. And then history happened.

I wonder because this Colts team has many critics about their defense just like that Broncos team did and that Denver D came up big in the playoffs.

That makes two of us. As much as I despise the Colts, the Ravens still stick out as the closest outside of our division to reach AFC West level of hatred. I am thrilled every time they lose. It is getting close to watching Chokeland and KC drop games now.

This loss is especially satisfying. The only part I don't like about it is, McNair is actually a good guy and I would love to see Mike Anderson win a super bowl. Ed Reed is great too... minus them, the rest can go to hell.

I wonder if its a similiar tale playing out 9 years later.

Indy has to pray that NE knocks out SD to even have a chance. Indy and SD is not a matchup I want anything part of. Might as well roll out the red carpet for SD in the super bowl.

I don't care who wins from here on out as long as SD loses. If Denver can't win the super bowl, nobody from the AFC West can.

Defining Playoff Game Matchups

1970's - Raiders Steelers and Vikings Rams
1980's - Broncos Browns
1990's - 49ers Cowboys
2000's - Colts Pats

Will the masses get what they want tomorrow?

CBS to the NFL:

"Um, yeah this is Deep Throat; we're looking for Filthy Zebra. Filthy Zebra, it's your job to derail the Chargers tomorrow, so CBS and the masses get what they want; Pats vs Colts."

Please no filthy zebras tomorrow. Go Chargers!

"Filthy Zebra"? That's a classic.

I don't like the Colts but I like the Ratbirds even less. Gotta give some props to the Colts D. Two weeks ago, could you have guessed they could shut down two playoff teams?

Now we can watch the Chuggers squeak by the Pats and the Chuggers take out Jughead and his Merry band, and root for the Saints to win it all.

That's about it! LOL!

or the bears, either works for me.
I'm pissed at the Seahawks because they sneaked into the Playoffs at 8-8 and played worse then us this season.

Huh i watched his interview and he didn't say anything and if i did miss it he should have gone out of his way to pour credit on them. If not for them he wouldn't even be this close but sadly his D is going to get worked over by the charger or the pats. Iam going to guess jughead will be more vocal then about his D.

I dont want a Colts-Pats matchup but then again, I dont want a Colts-Chargers game either.

Oh well.

Just gotta suck it up and watch who wins out.

Credit the Colts D, they won this game for them along with Adam V.

Colts-Chargers would be fun.

I wonder if its a similiar tale playing out 9 years later.

Could be. NE has gumption, though. I'll take them to win it all.

Dear lord if you can see in your devine power to see through the fake a**ed colts and jugheads endless string of commercials, can you please give us the pleasure of seeing jughead laying on the ground gasping for air from one brutal sack after another. Can you please make him pay dearly for those stupid audiables with a pick taken to the promise land! amen! Can you make sure dungy remains expressionless throughout the game and be forced to make a string of excuses as to why they choked yet again during the interview. Can we see jughead throw his defense under the bus again thus taking all blame of his extremely large head and ego.

Can i get a amen! with a dash of halalouya!

BALTIMORE (Jan. 13, 2007) -- Adam Vinatieri set an NFL postseason record with his 33rd career field goal, his fourth of the game for the Indianapolis Colts against the Baltimore Ravens.

Vinatieri broke the record held by Gary Anderson, who kicked 32 field goals in 22 games. Vinatieri has played in 19 games for New England and Indianapolis. He kicked three last week against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Vinatieri connected on kicks of 23, 42, 51 and 48 yards. The record-setting kick came with 10:57 left in the third quarter and put the Colts ahead 12-3.

The Playoffs are full of story lines now...

Eagles/Pats repeat

Saints/Chargers - Rivers vs Brees... Bush versus the 619

Colts/Saints - Battle of current Manning versus previous Manning's team.

Patriots/Saints - Battle of Tuna Disciple's...
