They do not exist in the same space. Imagine you have a ball and inside the ball is our universe and everything in it. Now, imagine you have an infinite number of balls and everything in those balls is each universe. They are separated by membranes (which apparently, sometimes interact).

Yo are looking at things via a three dimensional outlook and m-theory postulates that there are 11 dimensions. The 3 spatial dimensions, time and 7 othere dimensions we cannot perceive being extremely tiny (smaller than a quark, the building blocks of protons/neutrons which are the building blocks of atoms called "strings").

These "branes" take a variety of shapes, and sizes and do not in general overlap other branes. They exist separatetly but sometimes clash which is now what they believe is the cause of the "Big Bang".

Google m-theory, also known s Membrane Theory. Its teh advancement of string theory.

Dagmar, I have Comcast and an HD tv.

When I had Comcast come out, they hooked up my tv and gave me a new HD box. It costs me $5.00 more a month than I was paying for digital cable.

Their HD package includes dual tuners which is really cool because you can record two programs at once.

I don't know the reason for this and don't particularly care, but once I am on Comcast's HD package, I can no longer use my tv's Picture-In-a-Picture feature. Oh well. I find I don't miss it, as I can flip back & forth between 2 live programs, pausing one while I watch the other, and vice versa, so I'm not missing out on any action.

Yeah, special box and dish. I have two dishes now because only one HDTV and the other boxes are hooked up using the normal dish.

The box and dish were free (limit one box, 50 bucks for any additional boxes though). Installation was free.

Just 9.99 extra a month for the HD stuff and Discovery HD Theater alone is worth that cost.

If the old pooch was under that she surely would have been buried alive. Kinda scarry!

I just saw the craziest hit last night from Dennis Smith on Dan Fouts (thanks Atlas!!!)

Anyway, Smith blitzes from the edge, Lionel James goes low, Smith goes Superman over him and decks Fouts. These old games are so funny. Fouts takes these little mini steps as he drops back, he looks like a broke down old man, he takes like 9 steps on his drop back, it's so funny.

Anyway, Smith blitzes from the edge, Lionel James goes low, Smith goes Superman over him and decks Fouts. These old games are so funny. Fouts takes these little mini steps as he drops back, he looks like a broke down old man, he takes like 9 steps on his drop back, it's so funny.

look for the Hit DS49 put on Thurman Thomas , I cant remember the year but wow ...........I miss DS49 ............dude was certified

Just read this little tidbit i found on a cheaps message board.....

I've not been a Chiefs fan for very long, only since 93 when Montana came to KC. I live in Maine and I was a long time 49er fan and when Montana came to KC I came with him. It's not been easy, one disappointing season after another, but I've kept my KC flag flying proudly up here in New England Patriots country. This season has showed me that the Chiefs organization doesn't seem to want to win a superbowl. Year after year goes by and the trouble spots on the team just don't seem to get addressed. Finally this year I got to see a bit of an improvement on defense only to see the top ranked offense disappear. I knew when Herm was hired that we were headed to a bad place and I can only see it getting worse from here. I don't know if I'm willing to go through this another year, I'll have to wait and see what happens in the off season.

It sure would be easy to jump on the Patriots bandwagon, since they are my home team, but I hate the Pats. Maybe I'll join my wife and become a Titans fan, their future looks bright. Or maybe next season I'll just try and be a football fan and not support any one team. I know I'll still follow the Chiefs. Their games will still be on , on one of the 5 TV's I have going every Sunday with the NFL Sunday Ticket. I just can't let myself get so rapped up with the team and the hopes of a sucessfull post season. We'll see.....

Anyone having a siezure is going to struggle with uncanny strength. There is also a vacume even if someone isn't struggling.

What a hero. I had a girlfriend who would have seziures...there isn't much you can do...she went for a drive in a 85 Celica, very nice, and just about crashed off Evans onto I-25. the railroad tracks caught the car just to the north or she would of flopped right onto I-25.

I can't believe this guy managed to hold him down with half an inch clearance...there is a vacume.

I'll post some later today. It was the game against the Pistons, where Kobe didn't do anything until the game was damn near over. So I have great shots of Odom and a few other Lakers, but only a few of Kobe. Kobe had one nice drive my way, but the damn ref got in the way. I was so pissed. I'm working on a pass for the Heat game on Monday, but that will be a tough pass to get. If I don't get a pass for that game then I'll probably go to the one of Friday night.

It's funny that hassidism, some of the hindu creation myth, etc have been saying this stuff for thousands of years -

Also alec - that's IF string theory is correct - when testing quantum theories, they test to the result you are looking to find. Sort of a schrodingers cat deal.....

Oh dear lord! Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees!!!!!

http://www.honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1845064&%20page=1

I am visiting my family in Florida for the holidays. I was chillin at my sister's house when we looked out back and noticed a swarm of honeybees congregating on their swingset. There are a lot of kids around, including my sister's 3 kids. They were inside at the time, fortunately.

http://64.22.89.107/Picture%20630_1.jpg

http://64.22.89.107/Picture%201074_1.jpg

This is where the bees were coming from. A hole in the house behind my sister's place. We told the landlady about it and she didn't seem to care or want to be bothered that she was renting a house to people that had ****ing BEEES living inside it.

The neighbor called a bee removal company and they said they wouldn't come out unless we paid a hefty fee, but he did recommend waiting until dark and go buy some stuff from Home Depot and squirt them with it and that should kill them off.

Well that plan was OK except for 2 things. 1 was that my sister's husband is crazy. The 2nd thing is we didn't want to wait that long nor spend any money.

So we did the next best thing. Started ****ing with the bees.

My bro in law chucks a tennis ball at the clump of bees, that was the size of a basketball. He knocked off a fist sized clump of bees, which eventually just flew back up into the main clump.

That was pretty boring, so we decide to try something a little bigger....

The bees dust themselves off, and resume taking over the swingset. Every single one pretty much flew back up into a ball of bee death.

At this point it was clear these little a-holes weren't getting the message. Their arrival in my sister's property was an act of aggression, and we weren't going to stand for it. So it was time for some redneck engineering

This is when Kobe hit that game winning shot against the Suns last year in the playoffs. It was on the front cover of the LA Times. I tease him all the time, saying that he made the front cover of the Times, and he's not even taking a picture of the biggest shot of the year.

I liked Kevin Spacy's character in that movie a lot. Probably because I was stuck in a long term relationship with somebody that dried up on me. When he stopped caring, and started living, I wanted that life. Well now I have it, and I'd never go back. It's great to have freedom. To live life.

Found where?

They were both found in an apartment of some man in Missouri.

http://www.cnn.com/2007/LAW/01/12/missing.boys/index.html?section=cnn_latest

Story Highlights• One boy missing since 2002, the other since Monday
• Suspect arrested, charged with first-degree kidnapping
• Boys appear to be "OK," officials say
• Officers serving warrant noticed truck matching witness description

Adjust font size:
ST. LOUIS, Missouri (CNN) -- Two missing St. Louis-area boys, one of them missing since 2002, were found alive in a Kirkwood, Missouri, apartment, and a suspect was arrested, Franklin County Sheriff Gary Toelke said Friday.

Shawn Damian Hornbeck, 15, of Richwoods, Missouri, was last seen riding his bike to a friend's house in October 2002. Richwoods is about 60 miles south of St. Louis.

William Ben Ownby, 13, had been missing since Monday. He was last seen after getting off his school bus in Franklin County, just east of St. Louis.

Thursday night, two police officers in suburban Kirkwood went to a residence at the apartment complex to serve a warrant, Toelke told reporters. While there, they noticed a vehicle matching the description of that sought in the Ownby case and took photos of it.

"That resulted in the recovery," Toelke said.

Michael J. Devlin, 41, was arrested and has been charged with one count of first-degree kidnapping, said Franklin County Prosecutor Robert Parks. Devlin was being held on $1 million bail, he said, and more charges are likely.

Only one count of kidnapping was filed, Parks said, because authorities did not immediately have more information.

Hornbeck identified himself to officers, Toelke said.

"Both boys appear to be OK at this point," although they would be checked, he said.

Video footage taken at the Franklin County Sheriff's Office showed both boys exiting a vehicle.

Authorities divulged few details regarding the recovery or the criminal case.

"There's a lot of things that we don't know right now," Toelke said.

But he called the recoveries a "complete surprise. ... To have two endings like this is just unbelievable."

I've been working on my cinnamon roll baking skills lately, baking is an art.

Do you use ice cream in your cinnamon rolls...hmmm maybe thats my carmel rolls.

I made the cheesecake yesterday...I ended up doubling the crust and using walnuts and pecans...but not using the entire "double" recipe. It doesn't make enough to spread for a 9 inch crust. I threw it in the freezer...going to take it to work tomorrow. Hey, the filling tasted awesome. I 'll let ya know! ;D

Baking you usually need to be a little more precise...cooking, I experiment a lot more!

If one guy deserved to get their kid back it was the father of the older boy. He had devoted his whole life to helping finding children. Amazing.

Cinnamon Rolls

1 cup vanilla ice cream
1 cup brown sugar
1 stick margarine or butter
1/2 cup white sugar
15-16 frozen cinnamon rolls

Bring 1st four ingredients to a boil and pour in 9x13 cake pan.
Add nuts if desired. Place frozen rolls in pan. Cover and set overnight
to rise. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.

(This is kind of cheating though! LOL! )

‘This could be the one’.
We were staring at each other in the bathroom one day when I first thought this. Drunk, as was to become the usual on a Saturday night, and trying to get away from people. We’d only been together for about a week, but I truly thought that this was it. We were perfect for each other. We were going to be together for a long time.
Ah adolescence, where it’s so easy to fall deeply in love by just a single flush of testosterone.

We spent every second of the day together. Everywhere I went you would come with me, and I loved the attention, couldn’t get enough of it. Honestly, to begin with anyway, I didn’t care about the clinginess. I didn’t want you to go away. I loved everything about you. I was infatuated. I would sniff your hair, inhaling deeply, the tantalising aromas. You made me feel so sensual.

I really don’t want to seem crass, but God, you sitting on my face, it was like heaven. Just having you on top of me, covering my face, the world seemed so simple. I wanted to give you pleasure because you gave me pleasure. Being smothered so thickly made it so nothing else mattered. We were practically as one.

You knew you weren’t my first but it didn’t bother you. Self-assured both in yourself and the constant adoration I gave to you. I suppose I grew complacent, thinking you’d always be there, because the problems started. The problems with you became the problems with us.

One example, people commented that you were too thin. No matter how much reassuring I tried it was always an issue. I know it affected our relationship. My work suffered too. Having you around made it easier to think, but upper management did not agree that you should have a right to accompany me on shifts, or tag along on house calls.
‘What reflects on you reflects on the company,’ they said. By this stage I was starting to agree that maybe spending less time together might be beneficial for our relationship, maybe even bring us closer. I should have realised then that this went against all physical laws, and could never happen.

You never took kindly to the suggestion that we should spend some time apart. It helped me discover the insecurities in our relationship. When you were conflicted you really let yourself go. You were almost always dirty, always limp. The sharpness, the character, the qualities that attracted me to you in the first place was gone. I knew it was bad for us to both stay together. Our restrictive embracing pushed each other closer as we spiralled into dross. I had to get rid of you, but I couldn’t.

I mean, I really couldn’t. Every time I tried, even thought about it, I resisted. I came to realise that I didn’t want to think about life without you, didn’t want to confront the world alone. I was using you as a crutch. You were a mask, a façade that I continued to maintain so that the world didn’t see my real face, didn’t see my true insecurities.

I couldn’t handle even the concept of being without you, however I never could bring myself to just tell you to leave, and it would never have worked. Deep in depression, on a Saturday night, drunk, I gained the courage to follow through with a decision. It’s difficult to explain now (not semantically, but emotionally), but at the time it seemed right. I sat on the edge of the bath, next to the sink. I pulled out the razor. Crying a little, I stroke it against my skin; over and over again. The sight of blood was only a little shocking to me, but I never strayed from the course.

I woke up in white sheets. My first thoughts, I distinctly remember, was not ‘where am I?’ but instead ‘where are you?’ It felt so strange to be waking up alone. I felt so naked now, so wasted, but I was glad to be alive. I realised the joy in life again. I vowed never to let it get so bad. The days passed and I got used to being without you. People commented that I looked so much healthier now. Though I still felt self-conscious, and a little pitiful, I continued to grow strong.

It had been a week since that night and I knew I would never see you again. I woke up that Sunday morning and the sun shining through my lace-white curtains brought me clichéd optimism that I’d thought I’d never experience again. I sprung out of bed like a child. After my shower I stood, dripping, in front of the bathroom mirror. My eyes sparkled. I stared at my face. I stroked my chin gently, feeling the returning stubble, thicker, darker and harder than before. From one ear to the other it stretched. And though it was sparse, short and vulnerable, the wetness of my face made it glisten under the lights. And I stared at that stubble, and foolishly thought again, yes, this time, this beard could be the one.’

Bright side is you at least have options. Break it all down and realy look at where you would rather be. Making more is great but making enough and being comfortable is better on the nerves. If this new job keeps you home as much and pays better then its a move you may have to take, if not then dwell on it a bit untill you have to make the final call. Your wifes input is definatly a strong input but if you dont feel right about it then you probably need to sit down after the kids are down and realy get into it.

My son is addicted them. It's horrible! Every time we watch one, I remind him we've already seen this one like 5 times. He ignores me. They do make me laugh, but that kid on Fairly Odd Parents, with the big boil on his face just grosses me out to no end.

We have to have Jimmy Neutron thrown in there too. He'll watch those 3 rotating all freakin day long if I let him!

My son is the same. He watches those cartoons all the time, even though he's seen them all. I used to wonder why, but then I thought back to when I was a kid, and I watched re-runs all day long too. I used to tape Voltron and watch it all the time. My brother taped the Transformers.

When my son was 3 I had a great idea. To keep him busy I taped his favorite cartoons. I made about three tapes, so he had 30 episodes of Batman, Superman, Spiderman, the Simpsons, and a couple of other cartoons. So it didn't matter what time of the day it was, he had his favorite cartoons on deck. It worked pretty good. He was never bored.

This would be more for people in my age range, but when I was Christmas shopping this year, I saw a Fraggle toy! Haven't seen anything like that since I was a kid.

They need to put the Fraggles out on DVD. I loved that show when I was a kid.

I was down with Fraggle Rock.

Harry Nilsson wrote the entirely hummable songs (including the hit, "Me and My Arrow") for this charming, 1971 animation feature about a boy with a round head who is banished from the land of pointy-headed people. An allegory about nonconformism presented in a delightful way, this is a treat for everybody. Ringo Starr, the late Nilsson's old pal, narrates. --Tom Keogh

Actually, now that Bob Saget dropped that family image, he's back to being funny. Before Full House and American's Funniest Home Videos he was a rated R comic. He's gone back to doing that.

I damn near fell out my seat when I saw him in Half Baked.

I was shooting the Lakers/Heat game last night. At the end of each bench there are about four seats before the end of the court. Those are high priced seats. One of the Heat players was sitting in one. The people who the seats belonged to showed up a couple minutes after game time. When the got there they had to tell to let the Heat player know that he was sitting in their seats. I just found the whole thing funny.

I'll post the photos tomorrow. It's deadline day, so I have the actually work today. I shot the game against Orlando too, which was Friday night. Last night Mya was there, and she was hot. Super Duper hot. Of course I have some photos of her. She was sitting next to Lil Jon. I'm pretty sure they aren't together. That would be a shame.

Not many people seem to know what Voltron is. Me and my brother used to watch that all the time. Unfortunately I think that show is what led us to Power Rangers...

The Power Rangers is the perfect example of why you can't turn a cartoon into a TV show. Most of the things that works in a cartoon is just silly when it's acted out by real life actors. It's just cheesy.

My pops may have recorded the game. My brother and I were both shooting it, and were sitting next to each other for the first half. When I saw Mya early in the second half, I switched sides. I had to get a spot closer to her.
