Wow, Jamaal Anderson racked up 12 sacks this season, most of which came against the top competition in the SEC.

Alabama-2
Auburn-1
South Carolina-1
Tennessee-3
LSU-1

Another 2 came in the bowl game against Wisconsin.

Damn, talk about a guy who got it done against top competition.

Somebody will reach early on Rice... he may or may not reach his potential but he is going to test off the charts. He'll get hyped a lot like Donte Stallworth did a few years back.

I love this... Landry, Ginn, Lynch and Jarrett are all sliding back a little bit each time somebody comes out.

Anderson's probably my favorite DE prospect right now...easily my no. 1 choice for 21. Chances are he'll go higher...

He's already filled-out at around 280. He'll be close to a complete NFL end the second he gets drafted. He still has upside.

What's nice about a guy like that is he should play equally well in a 4-3 or a 3-4.

Keyshawn Johnson is supposedly telling Jarrett to stay at USC. Say he physical not ready for the next level. That he needs to hit the weight room big time. That was from the Rose Bowl sideline reporter.

The good part about Jarrett... he could learn in Denver. Then he could play in 4 WR sets... he should be good enough to beat a 4th DB.

I think he looks amazing catching the football. He can work on the strength.

I think we'll still be too Lelie scarred for a rail thin deep threat.

Jarrett has more to his game than Lelie IMO. Jarrett makes plays.

Keep em coming, this draft needs alot of help, keep declaring!

Im glad Sidney Rice declared in particular, he would be really nice at 2, although I dont think he'll last that long. He's prolly late first.

I was thinking the same thing. If he falls to us in round 2, go for it. Someone will likely snatch him up before then, though.

Ah well, that means someone else slides down another notch towards us.

God, I love deep drafts. :)

If either he or Meachem (who i thought i heard declared) last till the second i say go for it.

Ofcourse, if either lasted that long, it would be a no-brainer, but its highly doubtful that it will occur. But...you never know, last year no one thought Ko Simpson, Max-Jean Gilles, Mark Anderson and Darnell Bing would last till the fourth round. And a few years ago, Greg Blue, Elton Brown, Ernest Shazor and Anttaj Hawthorne ended up going much lower than anyone expected....I think Shazor and Blue werent even drafted. Same thing with Brandon Browner.

Guys fall every year for whatever reason. Winston Justice, LenDale White & Leonard Pope were supposed to be sure fire 1st rounders a year ago and went in the 2nd (Pope may have even gone in the 3rd). Same story the year before with Dan Cody & Khalif Barnes.

Happens every year.

If we get either of those two or someone like Chansi Stuckey later on i think we'd be pretty much set at WR for quite awhile. Add a big DT, along with a pass-rushing DE, a safety and someone to replace George Foster and this would be a perfect draft. The only RBs i would consider early are Marshawn Lynch or Michael Bush in the second.

Yep, thats right Jens, he slid really far, I think it may have been because he had some kind of upper body injury that the teams knew about but was never disclosed to the press, I thought I read something about that after the draft.

Wasn't he the guy who tore his rotator cuff?

I think that was the injury he had, but a torn rotator cuff shouldnīt be that hard to overcome for a DT. He was a first rounder around 12 months ago. I mean, you draft for the future and not for the next season ...

I think he'll play more like this guy in the pro's... very much the same style. I like Jarrett a lot. All he does is get open and make great catches. He could be a huge weapon in Denver. Screw speed, I've always like size more personally.

I dont think he is entirly filled out. If needed I think he can still bulk up more. Pisses me off that we are loosing him and K. Jackson (even though he is a sr.) at the same time half our line is gone and both produced. Jackson isnt getting any respect so I am going to have to see why he is rated so low. He is a bit short (6'0") but has nice size and played well all year. Anderson leaving is going to realy hurt he is a playmaker hopefuly I get to keep him on my team if we draft him.

Anderson is now rated #2 on the gbnreport (http://www.gbnreport.com/2007des.html) at DE, probably means we wont see him.

NFLDC even has him at #6 overall.

Sidney Rice in the 2nd would be awesome, doubt he falls.
