AFC Divisional Matchups Set

Should be some interesting games... Brady leads the Patriots to NE and Indy travels to Baltimore. I think many strengths and weaknesses to both pairs of teams that could play out in each teams favor.

Brady and the Patriots have been clutch in big games over the past five years. They rolled past a good NYJ's team easily today. SD's weakness on defense is in their secondary and I think that Brady can expose it even though his targets aren't as good as in years past. SD can also be ran on and NE has to horses that can carry the load in Maroney and Dillon.

Schotenheimer is one of the worst post-season coaches in the bigs going against one of the best in recent years. Imagine if this game gets tight... SD is going to have a lot of pressure on them.

SD has LT going for them... enough said.

They played two years ago and SD just flatbacked them at their crib. I think this NE team is better but it will be an interesting matchup for both squads experience could be huge in this game for NE. Of course I'm rooting for anybody going against AFC West teams.

Indy and Baltimore have been two of the favorites all year and McNair and Manning renew their rivalry in a new city. I like the way that Baltimore can rush the passer... that poses problems for Indy. Manning however can tee off on opposing secondaries and Baltimore has been exposed by Manning before, last season to be exact. Should be interesting matchups...

Anybody have predictions?

All I can say is go NFC in the super bowl, I dislike both of these teams very much.

I'm not sure you can hold Marty's postseason record against him to gauge next week's game. I think BB has the coaching advantage, but so what?

That SD team might be well-balanced and talented enough to win no matter who is the coach.

Facing BB in the playoffs makes me very nervous.

Home game with a bye week to get healthy so we should win this. I hope we can pull it out.

I'm not worried about the Marty factor. Everything changed around here since that Baltimore game. I'm more worried about the team and players listening too much to the press clippings.

We stomped NE in Foxborough last year. I think NE has some weaknesses that can be exploited, especially if Harrison is still out. I'd be willing to bet that it's a tight game, though. The Jets were right in the game today until that long TD drive by NE at the end.

I agree with the talent aspect. I just can't wait to see when SD is sattled with some adversity this postseason and I think NE is the perfect team to give them some. NE has all the experience in these situations versus a relatively green SD team that has been to the playoffs once in the past 5 or 6 years. I imagine the scene will look something like deKNEE Green coasting the Vikings to a super bowl birth in 1998 when oops... he forgot how to play with killer instinct.

Marty will get this team wound up too tight and BB will exploit them. All NE has to do is keep it close going into the 3rd quarter. If they can do that, I think NE will pull it out with Brady.
