There are some awesome surfer girls here too. But they could kick my ass so easy!

I body surfed Sandy beach about 25 years ago. I used to live about 3 miles away. We would ride our skateboards over there.
Unreal!
Do you get in the water to take surf pictures?

When I lived in Hawaii, 25 years ago....
We used to Boogie Board at a place we called "Seconds". It is in the mouth of Maunalua Bay, it was a huge paddle to get out there.
I was out one day before a storm and it was 15 - 16 ft.
Man it was unreal.

I've been to Hawaii about 18 times over the past 30 years.
I never get tired of going back.
While you are there you need to visit at least these two spots.
The USS Arizona Memorial and the Punchbowl (National Cemetary of the Pacific). The view from the lookout at the cemetary is beyond belief. You can see from Diamond Head all the way to Pearl harbor. The cemetary is in the crater of a volcano.
Great pics Pez. And I noticed alot of those surfers are wearing Bronco colored flippers. Did you supply those? :)

LOL! If only there were more Broncos fans there to wallow in my misery! I did get to laugh at all the SoCal "Fans" of the Chargers when their club choked :wiggle:
Dude, its so whack out there. Football games start at like 8 AM for the early game. I couldnt even imagine trying to play fantasy football and get the lineups in that fooking early!
Anyway, back home again baby! Its good to be back! The competition was epic, the waves were unreal and the people were awesome. I'm already missing it sooooo much.

Hey Pez. Me thinks you've spelled the state fish wrong.
Isn't it Humuhumunukunukuapua'a?

Probably. If I recall correctly, the avatar text wont let me put more letters up there so I butchered the spelling Ha!
By the way, I used to own a Humahuma triggerfish... they rule but they are very destructive in the tank!

Did he eat everything?
I love diving the Hawaiian waters, some of the weirdest looking fishes. The Carribean has some strange looking creatures also.

Yeah, he ate damn near anything you put in the tank. What pissed me off was the damselfish that kept getting munched by him. Not to mention that he "arranged" my tank all the time by moving rocks, and kept moving the crushed coral at the bottom into big lumps. Damn fish.
We saw tons of sea-turtles over off Waimea Bay and over at a breaks called Log Cabins. The fish we saw in Cancun rocked too, but werent as brilliant as the ones we saw in Oahu.

I finally convinced my daughter (12) to start "going under the waves" when we went to Aruba last year. She had a great time snorkeling, so I'll have to work on doing snuba and then scuba with her.

I wanted to try to Snuba down in the Rivera Maya, but the snorkeling was great anyway. I spent hours out there just checking out the nice reefs along the Great Mayan Reef. It was pretty cool.
Did you go to Aruba in good weather Nut? Hopefully the water quality was awesome.
Look at my kook setup. What a hack snorkeler I am ROFL!
