I've linked these to Photobucket and we all know how reliable that can be over time. They'll stay up as long as possible, but someone may need to snag them and host them elsewhere. Hope you like seeing what was handed out yesterday and how he was remembered.

I know Darrent played in the NFL for the Denver Broncos, but i wish they would have focused more on Darrent the person, rather than Darrent the football player. It just seems a little odd to see the Bronco logo all over everything. I realize his life was football, but this isn't for us, it's for him and his family. They root for him every sunday as DARRENT WILLIAMS #27, CB Denver Broncos, but when the final seconds tick off the clock it's back to being "Dee", the family man.

I'm not complaining it just struck me as odd. The team did show great support and i applaud them.

His family was proud of his achievement, and the Broncos celebrated that with them with respect and honor. It was a beautiful thing. The family also reached out to the fan community by opening up the funeral and allowing it to be broadcast.

Darrent didnt put on a show. He was who he was, and that was the show.

Amazing tribute. 12 more hours and it will be a full week. Hard to believe he was taken and gone so quickly... kinda like his entry into all of our lives... Like a shooting star.

DWill you truly had a brilliance to you... thank you for letting us share in some of the memories.

Thanks for posting that. Because of what you said about photobucket, I grabbed them and uploaded them to my webserver. I have had the domain/account for many years, and will have it for many, many years, and will not delete the Darrent Williams directory, so these pictures will be on my site for years to come.

I think they did focus on Darrent, the person. The fact that his family chose to add the Broncos stuff show that the Broncos were an extremly important part of his life...a second "family".
