Probably something they're going to want to think about sooner rather than later. Their starting QBs will be 31 and 32, respectively, at the start of next season.

Peyton Manning is 30 years old and he has three playoff victories. That works out to one playoff win per decade. Pretty impressive.

pretty much everyone is excited to see cutler progress. pretty much everyone thinks the future is bright.

that said, why the hate from you, taco, and others toward plummer?
you'd think the guy stole your wife or something.

he won alot of games, was/is very good in the community, played his ASS off in every start, and has been a great mentor to the guy that took his job (unlike many vets including brett favre).

be happy about cutler being our qb all you want, but spewing hatred towards plummer just makes no sense.
bottom line is that the guy gave everything he had every single game.
unfortunately that (combined with an ABYSMAL playoff defense) wasnt enough to win a championship, but it sure isnt because of a lack of heart.

frankly, i cant think of any reason why everyone wouldnt thank him for his efforts in his time here and wish him well in the future (unless of course he plays the broncos)

i didnt mean to offend with that comment, but if it did, well then i apologize.
see, its just that for the life of me i dont understand why people would slam the guy.
even AFTER losing his job he was a good captain and teammate, going as far as standing up and giving a "lets get goin" speech at halftime of the chargers game.

i can COMPLETELY understand people being happy that cutler is now the starter, but i DONT understand why some people also feel the need to belittle plummer and what he accomplished as a bronco.

Jake Plummer .333 (2-4)

Jake definitely has an uniqueness about him, on the field, off the field, and in his playoff record. Two of those losses came at the expense of rare Peyton victories. Another one of those losses happened against one of the two teams that beat us at Mile High in the playoffs. Yet, one of those wins resulted in Tom Brady's lone playoff loss, and Jake's other win was the only playoff win for the Cardinals in the past 60 years. In other words, pro sports worst postseason drought.

These are two kinda weird back-to-back posts here from you. Ever heard of that ol' fundamental attribution error? What you know of someone is not their entirety, being its gist.

For what it's worth, I've never really heard you say anything interesting re: football, it's just that people mistake your colourful, down-home prose for insight.
