Hey, I can't let everyone else have all the fun!
1) Amobi Okoye, DT, Louisville- The line has been a weakness for too long and Okoye is the big, active DT the team needs. He would upgrade the run defense and provide a push in the pass rush, freeing up the ends. As DTBLAS mentioned, he's also very young with tons of potential.
2) John Wendling, S, Wyoming- Big, athletic safety who even returned punts at UW. A nice prospect who could learn behind Lynch for a year before starting, he has better range than our current starters and his size/speed would make him a nice special teamer next year. Would also provide depth in case Ferguson recovers slowly.
3a) Josh Wilson, CB, Maryland- Very productive player with blazing speed, but height (5'9") is a limitation. Also an excellent returner, he could fill DW's role. He's rising and may not be available here come draft day.
3b) Gary Russell, RB, Minnesota- Everyone here knows his story, but some considered him a better prospect than Maroney last year. If he tests and interviews well, he could go day one and may well end up being a steal.
I'm also hoping we can trade TBell/Foster/Plummer for additional mid-late round picks and maybe move into the fourth. A WR is an obvious need there and I'd also like to see Doug Free picked up. He was hurt this year and needs to bulk up, but he's a perfect fit for this offense and was very highly regarded coming into this season. He could be a long-term solution protecting Cutler's blind-side. With our late-round picks, I'm for a young back-up QB like Beck, though I still think we'll sign a vet, and maybe an OG or LB for depth. Someone like Matt Trannon becomes an intriguing option for his versatility, as well, and would provide one more weapon for Cutler.
