Hey Sooner, just curious about what rumors you are hearing out there in Okie land. I know before the year started there were rumors that Stoops might leave to go to Dallas. I read a post on another board that a guy with inside info says that the Fins have contacted Stoops. Ofcourse this is all internet rumor, but what do you think the chances are that he will leave? Lots of open jobs out there do you think this is the year he makes the jump to the NFL?

I also heard the other day that Tressel might be interested in moving to the NFL. Supposedly he grew up a huge Browns fan. I know the Job isn't open, but do you think he is a guy and eventually makes the leap to the NFL?

I've also heard Charlie Wies to the Giants.

Stoops makes almost 3 mil a year in Norman and makes no bones about being happy right here. His name is mentioned for every job that comes up.

Carnack the Magnificent here with a long term projection that will shock you all.

2010 - Mark Richt finishes his contract at Georgia and becomes Asst. Head Coach and heir apparent to Mike Shanhan. They are great friends. Shanahan stays as club President and turns to coaching over to Richt in 2011.

I'd wouldn't mind him coaching the Broncos is he learned under Mike for a coulple of seasons.

I'm not buying it. Shanahan is going to take down Shula in 2025.

Naa. He doesn't want to go out looking like Greasy Al.

Since I am creating my own little conspiracy theory here, let me add to it.

Brad Johnson is signed to backup Cutler, stays in that rol 1-2 years and then moves on to the coaching staff. When Richt becomes head coach, Johnson becomes OC. Johnson is Richt's brother in law. Beat that McGaffney.
