As I guess we all need something to take our minds off the tragedy in Denver, I guess some people might be watching the Orange Bowl. I realize this is the wrong forum, but as thereīs nothing "better" on TV and we all need some distraction, I think this would maybe be a good idea to have the thread on the main board.
As for the game, I still canīt quite believe this is a BCS Game ...

I believe Wake is the second smallest school in D-1 with a little over 3000 students. This year was a great accomplishment for them.
Louisville just has too many very good players and unless they get sloppy should win handily. Watch the DT Okoye. He is only 19 had has graduated and will be in the draft. A little short, but he is tough, smart and mature beyond his years. Folk who want a DT in the first or second round should pay attention. Brohm is likely to be the number 1 pick in 2008 draft if he stays in school as he has indicated.

And what the hell is Dave Wannsted doing there? Isnīt one former Cowboys coach enough?

I hope Wannsted stays in coaching a long time. He is horrible on TV.
Really hate seeing Ali that way. I know is from Louisville, but it seems like he doesn't even know where he is.

Was the game canceled or something? They are talking about the Sugar Bowl.

Keep your eye on Louisville DT, Amobi Okoye, 19 year old senior.

ND is going to get run over. If LSU comes to play it's not even going to be close, IMO.

1. Keep an eye on the Wake QB. Looked damn good for a freshman.
2. Between the team, the band and the cheer leaders are there any other WF students?
3. I am all for players finishing their eligibility, but if Michael Bush comes back he will have to split carries with those other three backs. He is a late first pick now, assuming his recovery is on schedule. He can only go down if he only gets 10-15 carries a game. His injury is much less severe than McGahee.

I was thinking about that earlier in that game...if Bush comes back he'll have Stripling and a great talent in Allen to compete with.
He should definitely go pro.
Urrutia is gone too, IMO.

He had a sack early and then continued to apply good pressure through the first half. I had more distractions during the second half and can't comment about it.
