Alright looks like we are set and ready for training camp. Who needs the draft when you just signed studs like Eddie Johnson. j/k. Looks like an interesting list I know Hall did pretty well at Ten. we may be able to get something out of this lot.

Johnson came out of Stanford and was determined to play WR, but Choleland drafted him and moved him to TE anyway. Not sure if he can have his mind rehabbed or not.

Hackney is interesting. He could be this year's Romo. A little short, but a very good passer from a smaller school.

It is down by Creede, Colorado. That is the Rio Grande River coming out of the Uncompogre Range. Beautiful country. This is from the highway, but the area you see is about as remote and unspoiled as you will find in Colorado.

As a USC fan, I think very highly of Jacob Rogers. Not exactly sure why Dallas didn't keep him, but he is very good -- could turn out to be the replacement for Foster.

Dallas dumped him because they basically said he was a weenie. He couldn't stay healthy and wasn't mentally tough enough. Sounds surprisingly like Foster.

Good to see some semblance of normalcy in a time of chaos and confusion.. Some decent fodder in there that might be gems for PS.

Hall is a speed rusher but is often injured, or at least in KC he was. With some solid play along side him, he can produce when healthy.

Yea...I know I didn't think he'd amount to anything.

Now? He's a solid no. 3/4 guy who can return in a snap.

Hell, My adoptee is Cam Vaughan...I'd love it if he makes the team, not just PS, ..but he will have to IMPROVE a lot from last pre-season to do so.

Maybe one player out of the bunch makes it. Maybe not.

Well, I've heard of most of them. That's good, I guess.

Fleming is the one who interests me the most, mainly because he's a prototype fullback.

With the announcement of those signings does that mean other players on the practice squad are officially dumped inc Shoate, Andre Hall, Hunt and Parsons???

My brother-in-law has a large back-yard overflowing with junk cars.

Some even look like they could run.

Started one once & that was exciting...ran for a couple of minutes.

My sister says he may start a parts business...of course, that was twenty years ago.

Thats what they said about Rod Smith, Daivd Kircus, Mike Bell, Matt Lepsis, Nick Fergison and Chad Mustard. And that list is just from this years team. Shanahan will play the best players. Period.

I liked Vaughn's potential in preseason. Of course, that...was...preseason...

We'll see if any of these people pan out. I would love for Carlos Hall to be our answer at end...

Very true. There are several talented players there who could turn out to be diamonds in the rough.

Jacob Rogers was a guy with a lot of talent but the Cowboys considered him a wuss. Something's suspicious about it however, because Parcells may have caused this himself. He has this weird notion that if a player gets hurt he deserves the doghouse. Parcells refused to accept Rogers assertion that he was injured and told him to play anyway, which he did. He's done this to some other players also BTW. Shortly after he was injured again and waived. This MIGHT...emphasis on "MIGHT"...be Foster's replacement IF....emphasis on "IF"...he's healthy and has his head on straight. He could also be Foster II of course...but it's worth a look.

Can futures contracts be sent to NFL Europe? And what happens to PS guys that weren't signed to to futures contracts? Is there any signifigance to the contracts other than having a spot at training camp?

Rogers was in the doghouse from the beginning. I really didn't know why, but Dallas gave up on a second round pick pretty fast.
