Williams had two children - 7-year-old son Darius and 4-year-old daughter Jaelyn. These two kids are going to grow up with out their Dad.
It just keeps getting harder and harder to focus on anything else. I can honestly say that this has been one of the worst days of my life.

yeah, they were talking about this earlier today. this incident will be a cloud over Broncos' country all year long, even into next season. perhaps it could be a rallying point for the team during the offseason. it certainly shows us not to take anything for granted.

Yeah I heard that on the news. Now two kids will never really know their father. They will never know his heart and desire to be the best. Just makes the day that much sader.

They showed a cell phone pic of him with his 2 kids he took on Xmas day on Fox news. Looked like his daughter was crying a little bit when the camera showed her and some other family members. It has been all over the news here in Dallas. Feel bad for the kids and his Mom. Burying a kid is something you never think of as a parent.

You could probably say that about several million kids in the US.

yeah, i had a sister die in a car wreck in 1997 (at the age of 21) - and then Christmas Eve weekend one of my ex brothers-in-law died in a house fire (27 y.o.). that is WAY too young.

my parents are still devasted by my sister's tragedy.

What's your problem? You've gone through great pains to minimize his death in two seperate threads now. Yes, people die every day. But this a Broncos message board, he was a Broncos player, and as such most of us feel we have some kind of connection with D-Will.

Why do you feel the need to do this?

Can you guys retire his number? Or is that out of protocol and/or unfair to anyone else who wore 27 for Broncos..

Steve Atwater wore #27. I doubt the Broncos retire the jersey, although, I can see them not issuing it to any players for the 2007 season.
