Remember Shanny is the one who said we won't blitz that much this season, so i blame him for the anti-attack mode we went into this season. It's his team and he finished 9-7 after going 13-3 last year with attack mode on. He's a good coach but c'mon, he let all of this happen, he approved of the defense.

Instead of forcing the quick throw with a blitz, we have Paymah 60 yards off the WR, so in turn the WR runs a simple 8 yard hitch play, catches it, WIDE OPEN MIND YOU, and still has enough time to turn around and run, before (Hazma) coming from wherever the F*ck he was hiding in COYERS ZONE, can make a launching tackle.

This is the worst new years of my life, ever. I'm glad I got it out of my way Coyer had a chance to blitz in the 9ers last series. He didn't do it. It was his choice, period. After great play calling to push it into overtime. We let Alix Smith of all people camp out in the pocket. I was going to make a thread about this myself but I decided to post on this one instead.

It wasn't up to Shanny to not blitz the last series, whomever says that is clueless. If Coyer is our D coordinator next year I will support my broncos but we will go no where.

Coyer was our coordinator for the first 6 games, he looked like a mastermind then. And on that 49ers touchdown, weren't we burned on a ... blitz. I like Coyer -- given the terrible O play at the start of the season he is one of the people who should take credit for us being in the hunt. If anyone needs walking papers, it's Heimerdinger and the moron who coaches special teams.

I usually support Coyer but the lack of blitz in OT when they only needed a few yards drove me crazy too.
