I was just curious if other blackberry users had any suggestions for browsing the mane via blackberry. The only thing I've come up with that has helped some is looking at posts in the printable version, but it is sort of a pain. Any suggestions for settings etc ?

interesting, I just got a cingular treo for x-mas. I think garcia has the same thing as me if I'm not mistaken. I'm actually driving up on the I-5 to Northern california for a new years party my cousin is throwing right now, so it is pretty cool. The only complaint I have is it takes a bit longer to view threads and post than I am used to.

It does take longer. I have the blackberry Pearl. I really like the phone, and the browser isn't bad it just takes longer to view message board material. The really cool program is google maps. You have to down load that for your treo.

Have you found Mini opera to be substantially better? Was it easy to install? I'd love to know b/c right now the only thing worse than browsing the mane on my blackberry is not browsing the mane at all...

LOL...
I had a blackberry and used it to browse the main at 14.4 k.....you just need an HTML browser no matter what speed you are rolling at. reqwireless had one through handago(sp)....but any browser should do
What I found works the best is to turn off all images, avatars, and sig lines on OM. That tends to speed things up. I brows on a MDA from T-Moble.
