Wow! Denver is now a 10.5 to 11 point favorite over SF this sunday. This is the highest I have seen them being favored all season.

SF has nothing to play for, in theory. The line seems about right.

Hopefully we'll come out and make quick work of this thing and avoid any unnecessary drama. But, with our defense... you never can tell.

Cutler isn't getting any respect at all!

Damn, don't get me wrong... I hope the Broncos win by 20, but this is a huge spread. I have never bet against the Broncos but it is tempting to bet on SF.

Those numbers mean nothing - we cannot get complacent now.

Denver was a big favorite over Oakland earlier, bad news is Denver sucks as a big favorite.

With the bumbler under center. Thankfully that condition is no longer applicable.

Big number and inclement weather is usually an equalizer. I can't see myself laying that much.

Storm should be on me by Sunday.

I would think 7.5 but whatever.

It's good Jay got a snow game under his belt. All is going according to the master plan.

Hopefully SF can get here for the game. DIA doesn't have the best reputation for getting open after a snow storm. Luckily this one is supposed to be more drawn out. The crews will most likely have a better hand on getting the snow pushed around.

The line is nothing more than the Vegas oddmakers guess as to where the gambling demographic will evenly place bets. I'm not sure why people try to make it more than what it is.

How are people making it more than what it is?

by that, you mean, are people reading too much into the line?

No, I'm inquiring about the post above mine because I don't understand what he means.

duh

my bad, guess I should read everyone's posts

Vegas usually knows what they are doing, granted there seems to be some obvious misses, but the house never loses usually

This will be interesting. If Jake was the QB I'd say take the under, but I really don't know how this one will look. My initial thought is that this will be a closer game than people will think, but maybe we won't be that team that lets losers hang around all game. Who knows...

Not specifically this thread, but how many times have you seen fans upset that their team is being "disrespected" or someting of that sort because of the line?

the only team we have put away this year was the cardinals with Jay under center

the Cards just whuped the niners IN san fran

we are playing at home

I really like our chances, we match up well against the niners, we really only have to worry about Gore

Oh, I get you. Yeah, people sure do love the disrespect angle.

I think Alex Smith is going to get clowned on Sunday.

I agree

I really think our D actually matches up well with this team...we do well against mediocre teams

Alex Rodgers had his hand stretched in the offseason. what a weak draft compared to this last one...LMAO

The Broncos never seem to cover the spread. This is easy money with SF and the points. I expect the line to go down before the game starts...

It seems like I always have a bad feeling.

Broncos know they have to win. You will see max effort from all the guys, even Warren. Gore is hurting but will play. It could be as close as 10 points but I don't think this one is that close. Cutler has his first 3 TD game.

Broncos 31
49'ers 17

News flash! They try to set the line to get the same amount of bets on both sides and win on the juice. :wiggle:

Yeah, i would def. take denver. I can't see denver not trounching sf. Broncs are just a different class of football team. I expect a similiar game to the cards game. 38-13.

ewwwwwwwwwww

I dont like being favored that much....

Game WILL NOT be easy, Denver has to show up and play well to win, here is to hoping they come ready to go rather than complacent.

Another thing to consider is if the storm spills over into Sunday like some of the forecast models are showing. Weather is always a great equalizer.
