Neither do I.
I couldn't believe some of the opportunities Denver got yesterday to help them win-I was pulling for Cincy. Unbelievable. Shanahan is a sneaky bastard with his play calling too-I want to see them lose badly. Especially Champ Bailey-he needs to get thrashed.
Shanahan,Bailey and Lynch have always irritated me and the Denver fans-We need some revenge though-We may need to play them first-It would be sweet if they lost some players to injury.

They have reason to fear a Den/NE matchup. Denver dominates them.

The more I watch the Broncos defense of the last few weeks, the more I wonder how the hell they completely stiffled the Pats earlier this year.
I mean, if anyone can pick holes in Coyer's swiss cheese passing D, shouldn't it be Brady? And, shouldn't Lawrence Maroney scares the crap out of me, especially after watching Rudi Johnson carve the Broncos up yesterday?
But I'm not scared. I honestly think the Broncos would have better than a 50-50 chance of winning that game.

If I could choose a playoff team to play out of the 4 that have clinched, it would be NE. I think we can beat them in Foxboro but we will have to play well offensively. Our defense isn't playing anywhere near as good as they were when we beat them earlier in the season. The Pats definitely scare me. I don't even want to get into this until we clinch. I don't want to jinx us.

Even with the history what it is, I would rather play Denver than Indy. Indy is now a bad matchup for us, IMO. At least we have Maroney and Dillon to run at them.
BB is great at confusing rookie QBs....that's why I'd rather play Denver.
Anyway, you play who you have to play.....take whatever comes. You gotta beat the best to be the best and welcome all comers.
If we turn the ball over 5 times in a playoff game (again) we're not going anywhere anyway.

Would you rather play Cutler or Plummer? Just askin...

Cutler....for 2 reasons:
1) He's a rookie and BB has had success confusing rookie QBs
2) Jake has had success against us.
This is why you should fear New England. :~ohyah!:

Anytime you play on the road in the playoffs, it's not easy. It will take our A game to beat the Pats, make no mistake.

Cutler brings alot more to the table. Granted being a rookie in the playoffs on the road is a tall order. If Cutler can handle his first playoff game ok we are alot tougher to defend he throws ball around alot better then Jake ever did.

One thing that would concern me about facing the Pats... if they can keep it close enough that they'd have a chance to win or tie with a single drive late... I hate to say it but no way our D will stop Brady. The D line can't get close enough to the QB to even say something nasty to them, let alone prevent them from taking 10 seconds to survey the field. If that wasn't bad enough, Coyer is going to insist on rushing four in a situation like that and playing a soft zone, even though that will just about guarantee failure. All the recent victories against the Pats the Broncos had big leads late.

Champ is in Brady's head...........
The Pats will also have to deal with not knowing exactly what to expect from a Denver offense that is game by game improving and putting in new plays.

I ain't scared. Rookie QB v. Belichick...bring on baby. We are due to beat you guys sometime. This seems to be the time. Heck, if we lose, Kraftybobs Crow Thread Volume III.
But I don't think the Pats lose this time. Maybe. Hopefully.
BTW, my board doesn't want to play you guys either....I'm the exception in that thread, just cuz I want to exocize the demons.

This isn't about cutler and Brady, it about Shanahan and Belichick. Both are some of best coaches every to see the NFL field. If we can win with Griese I am sure Shanahan can win with Cutler. Nice thing is the rookie are fresh and we are basically injury free for our current starters.
But Denver needs to beat 49ers first. And That what this team is concertinaing on.

Part one of this hypothesis dawned on me the other day. I immediately envisioned the scores of asinine "Jake Would Have Beaten NE" posts that would flood this think tank under such a scenario.

Why, because he has? Three times in a row? Including a playoff game?
There's no reason at all to think Plummer has been successful as a QB against NE. Heck, even the Pats fans can figure that out.

I think it would be funny if Brady broke his leg this Sunday.
New England got some breaks in the Jags game on sunday, too. That was a forward pass by gerrard, not a fumble, but hey, whatever.
:Broncos:
1st of all it wasnt' Plummer that beat NE last season during the playoffs. Lets just get that straight. It was the defense which brought the heat and the special teams which created a turnover that led to points for us. Plummer was iffy at best in that game.
I feel confident against NE and I also know at the same time that they are going to be due to get some breaks against us. I don't care if we play NE or Indy though... I feel like we can beat both of those teams. I'm not afraid of Indy. Manning has played well against us but I know if we stick to the script we can cast them off once and for all. Cutler can go toe to toe with Manning... already.
First things first though. Lets win this game against SF and get in. SF is a tough team if you let them play in the game. We should line up in three or four wide all day and let Cutler, Marshall, Javon, Scheff and Rod tee off. Their pass defense is terrible.

I would rather play the Colts. I hate the idea of trying to beat the same team on the road twice in the same year. I think Indy has been exposed, and we could control the game. Even outscore them if we have to.

I am not deluded, I know it will be hard to win three playoff games on the road against the best the AFC has, New England, SD, Baltimore would be a tough row to hoe, but we have beaten two of the three, and martyball will strike again in SD, either when we play them, or when someone else does.
