Champ Bailey and Carmelo. Wow, Champ is a lot shorter then I imagined. And if that Puerto Rican looking girl is his wife I must say I'm dissapointed. I was walking by Carmelo and his friends in the street with my hands in my pockets. He stopped talking and stared at me like I was about to pull out. lol. I don't blame these guys for going out, but if they focussed more they would be even better then they are now.

How tall are you?
I'm 6 to 6'1. His listed at 6'0 which is impossible because I looked sort of down to him. I was wearing pretty short shoes too. At the most his 5-10.
I was leaving as he was walking in so we bumped into each other. I wish I could have talked to him, but I know these guys want their privacy.

I know what you mean. This is the first time I've seen him out, but my friends always tell me they see him out at the clubs. I have to think if he didn't do that he would be better. But I'm not mad because the guy is rich and famous, and he gets the job done better then everyone else.

Oh and one really weird thing I noticed. Carmelo and K-Mart had about 10 guys with them. Champ just had who I assume was his wife, and one other girl. I guess Champ feels bulletproof in Denver.

Actually part of being a good player is having a balance. You need to study film and do work, but you need to get out and relax so that you don't play tight or get burned out. I doubt he went and got wasted with a bunch of hookers until eight the next day.

No, I don't. I've never met her. I can assure you I am as tall as I say I am and there are people on this board who can confirm it, too. I'm standing right next to him and we were both wearing tennis shows on a flat cement surface. The proof is in the picture. :)

Champ was walking into what I believe is called Spill right next to Monarch. Not the side where Mynt is but the other. I left early at about 1:12 to 1:20.

Ok, I know where you're talking about. I think that's a hip-hop club. That's really not my scene. Actually I haven't gone out since BMF and his crazy crew came into town. It's just not my "thing" anymore. Maybe I've over-dorked myself. Ha!

It's not really a hip-hop club. They play all kinds of music. Tonight they were playing a lot of 70's and 80's type music.

OK then I obviously have no idea where you're talking about. Ha! I used to go to Rise and Vinyl a lot. The last 80's/70's club I went to was Polyester's and it was a weird experience for me.

I was supposed to go to polyesters like 5 times in the past. We either couldn’t find it or something happened to change our plans. I still haven’t been. I enjoy Reggae clubs more then anything. But I think I’m going to start going to more Spanish clubs because I could use some salsa in my life. Spanish girls are hott.

There's nothing wrong with these guys staying out late...as long as they are avoiding trouble. They are on a different schedule then normal working people. Football players get Monday and Tuesday off, so they are in the clubs Sunday and Monday night, when most aren't. I don't know what time they have to be at the head quarters, but it probably isn't the normal working hours on some days.
As for basketball, most of their games start at 7 pm. They can stay out all night, get in their 8 hours of sleep, and be up a number of hours before they have to be at the arena. Go to bed at 3 am, be up by 1 pm, and don't have to be at the arena until 4-5 pm. So it works.

Honestly, I would have liked it more if champ had more "protection." All it takes is one dumbass raiders fans to screw us over.
