Saw this on ESPN today, I hope it hasn't been posted already.

I sincerely hope we get to face our old punter this year because if we do that means we made into the playoffs.

The guy may have a drug problem or whatever but he
pounded the snot out of the football and reversed our
bad field position more times than I could count. His presence has been missed this year.

I don't want to count the chickens before they're hatched, but we're what, 5-1 or 6-1 against the Brady-led Pats? Even with a rook I like our chances. We just always seem to have their number.

They brought in Two other guys one being Tom Malone from USC. This guys was probably the best punter last year if he qualifies but SC never punts so he missed out. His junior year, I believe, he was considered the best. It shows how hard punters and kickers can get into the league. I guess they went with the guy they knew can do the job.

damn it was a mistake to let this guy go. broncos always let go of malcontents... but i dont think sauerbraun qualifies.... he screwed up true but he is a serious difference maker. he wasn't bad for the team, not the way that Darryl Gardener or Maurice Clarrett were.
