Troy Calhoun has been named HC at Air Force. Will Kubes pluck our staff again? I would hope he take Dennison, but I bet Bobby Turner would be his #1 choice. Any thoughts?

Only if Denver sweetens the pot and includes a first day draft pick.

Kubes is no dummy. ;D

I'm pretty sure he wanted Dennison to come with him last off-season but Shanahan blocked it. Probably get revisited if Shanahan is willing to let Dennison walk.

I'm not sure he'll even look Denver's way this time. Call it a hunch but he needs to cut the umbilical cord eventually.

There are plenty of coaches that would love to come here. Stop fussing like a mother hen.

Oakland on the other hand...they will be lucky to even fill their coaching staff with Jr. College rejects.

It's been my understanding that the reason Bobby Turner hasn't left is that his family enjoys the stability of Denver. I doubt he's going anywhere if he hasn't left by now.

I'm sure that Kubiak and Shanny are still friends. Eventually, the umbilical cord will be severed, once players he's familiar with dry up and the team improves.

The way Jay has progressed the last two weeks, I hope it quiets down the OMG we miss Pubes baloney. He was ready and it was a dream job other than the talent there. He went to Texas A&M, has a decent owner and new facilities.

Why would Turner or Dennison bother to make a lateral move to a franchise with a history of losing? Given the choice, I would want to work for a team that has a future. I believe Denver is that team.

The Texans don't even have a QB.

Either one would become a coordinator, the next step to a HC. I wouldn't call that a lateral move. I dont buy the cutting umbilical theory either, Shanny's staff is littered with his "homies" personal friends he even brought Dinger' back.

Kubes, take your pick of Coyer, Dennison, or Heimerdinger. Please?

The one thing the Broncos do have in their favor is that if Mike wants to pay a position coach like an OC or DC, he can. Bobby can stay here and make what some OC's make. Stability and getting paid too. Bobby is staying.

Not to mention Kubiak grew up and went to high school in Houston. It was homecoming for him.

That said, he took anyone worth taking with him the first year.

I look for the Texans to sign Plummer this off-season, and he will be an improvement over Carr. He could get them over .500,

The three coaches I would get rid of would be Dennison, Bradford, and Patterson.

LOL Turner is part of the package that Alex Gibbs got so much credit for our RB success. Turner has been there the whole time. One of the best coaches that isnt a HC or OC. The guy does everything needed to make us Running Back Central. Our Oline does need Alex back IMO. Take Bradford please! Ill keep Dennison if he goes back to ST. We did much better with at least him in that position unlike what Bradford gives us now.

I'm hoping Dennison so the Broncos can get a real OL coach. Bradford and Patterson could be had too. Turner has had many chances to leave in the past, but has always stayed. It would be hard to see him leaving now just to go to the Texans.

Why Patterson? I would think Burney would be the DL Coach given his walking papers.
