On that note I would some how love to get Steve Smith in the second round but Ginn would improve a part of our team that needs about as much help as the DL in my opinion. We need another game changer and someone that will help us not have the worst starting field position in the NFL.

Depends on who's still on the board and who we signed in FA. If we sign a starting end in FA, then I'd be more inclined to address other needs in the first round.
I wouldn't freak out over it...

I would not be upset at all. Ginn has MAD SKILLS and unreal speed, he is still kinda raw though in his technique as a WR, but is still definitely a huge beast. His great return skills are a bonus. He is worthy of Top 15 on potential alone.
Team him up with our emerging young threats on offense and Javon, it would be great. Obviously, I really want Bush and in general I want a big time back early on, but Ginn is a big time talent...real big time, I certainly wouldnt mind adding him to our soon to be lethal collection of offensive talent. Wouldnt mind at all.

Unless it's a stud DE or DT the answer is HELL NO!!!

They'd need to make some serious FA moves on the defensive side of the ball before I'd want Denver to go offense in the 1st.

This is a thin Draft for D-line. Ginn is good but Gonzalez is a better WR IMO. I want a RB though I wouldnt be mad if he came to Denver. He wont be there when we pick...He'll stay at school! wishfull thinking I know

Well Rice should be on the block, not sure how much he has left but could be a year fix. I still think its coaching and not so much the lack of talent on the DL but thats just me. Robaire Smith, Rod Coleman, Hollis Thomas, and Vonnie Holliday would look nice here next to Warren. I think we have a good outside rush but the push up the middle isn't there. Holliday is having a great year but I don't know how he would fit here with them running a 3-4. Randy Starks was someone I was high on a few years ago and he is a RFA but I don't know what it would take to get him.
Im with you on Bush SoCal but I wonder if he will slip some in the draft because of the injury. As of now he isn't ranked very high.
Our SP teams suck and Ginn would fix that, well I hope he would. Sometimes just having someone like him takes teams out of games because it crushes momentum.

I should add KGB, Chris Kelsay, and Justin Smith to that wish list as well.
You don't have the right option on there for me. I wouldn't be especially pleased but I wouldn't be really ticked either.
The thing I wouldn't like is that at best Ginn would be a number 3 next year. He won't be number 2 and lookin at our track history with wideouts I would prefer not to try at another in the first two rounds unless he falls to the second or something like that.

IMHO Ginn is the type of player you can't pass on.
I would much rather have a DL stud, however we need a flat out speed burner with our QB.
A combo of Walker, Marshall & Ginn would be hard to stop.

That's the key. I really don't see it happening, but you never know. Broncos haven't had any consistency at the 3rd receiver spot since the one good year of the 3 amigos. Next year is likely Rod's last year, so it would be nice to have someone to step in, especially a guy with some speed. Same thing at the punt return position. Who was the last decent one? Darrien Grodon? I think, unless they have tremendous faith in Hixon, the Broncs have to add a speed guy in this offseason to stretch the field and give Cutler that homerun threat.

I would be furious... In all honesty I haven't seen much of him but of what I've seen of him although he's obviously very athletic guy, he's too slight and small to make it in the NFL IMO. He isn't a good technical receiver he relies completely on his athletic ability which at the next level won't get it done.

To replace ROD SMITH, I hope its STEVE SMITH... Everytime I watch Steve Smith I get Déjà Vu.

I like Steve Smith a bunch. Could likely get him in rounds 2 or 3. Probably won't be a punt returner, but he is a Marvin Harrison style of receiver, just knows how to get open and has great hands. Not real fast, but sneaky quick.

We need a stud DT more than anything. I have trust in Javon, Marshall, Kircus, and Scheff in a Cutler run offense next year. No need to get a return guy in the 1st round.

I would love to get either Ginn,Lynch or Branch in the first round. I think all those player will be gone when the Broncos pick. If Ginn falls to Broncos then taking him would be a no brainer.

It depends,if we've already signed some good DL talent prior to the draft id be ok with it
i voted no assuming we still need DL

i voted no assuming we still need DL Shannahan does a good job of filling our needs in free agency so the Broncos draft the best player available.I could see the Broncos signing a dt and Safety in free agency and if Ginn falls to Broncos then he would be a good pick.I don't think ginn will be their so I think the Broncos could trade out of first round and draft a player like Carriker,Woodley,Irons ,Merriweather or Staley. I think Stanley could be the guy because he is a prefect fit for Broncos zone blocking plus the Broncos would have a future replacement for Lepsis The broncos want to make sure Cutler is protected.
Ginn has the ability to impact this team in three different areas. You have to add the best player possible.
I think we go for the best player, if that means surrounding Jay Cutler with more weapons for the next 5 to 10 years, then we do it. Our return game is terrible and we need somebody to use in our 3 wide formations.

is their a statistic for most drives started inside the 5 or 10 yard line, so many of em arent even the returners fault. it is amazing, i cant ever remember a team getting pinned so much.

DL? How about getting a real tackle?
