I hope this is just the beginning. For all those who say "they're just doing work the american worker wont do", I say BS. I think there are quite a few americans who would prefer making $12.20 p. hr. over un-employment.
Get rid of these Law-breaking illegals, and fine the hell out of each employer who doesn't follow hiring guidelines which from what I understand become a bit more detailed come the first of the year. I believe it's March.

The underlying issue here is about the employers who hire illegals who in turn have stolen identities and SSN from law abiding citizen who have no idea their credit could be going down the drain and income is being reported to the IRS which they did not earn.
I'm so sick of this BS!

Isn't that the same:wiggle: Never mind, I shouldn't have gone there......

What bugs the shiat out of me is that in May this was an "issue", and now, 7 months later, it's a minor non-issue which has magically disappeared from the "front page".
Then the paper gives us the Waaaaaaa portion of the story about the family being split up. I don't give a hoot. Take the rest of the family with you, when you get that free ride back to Mexico, and tell Mexico to get their house in order or we will stop pouring tourist dollars into your country. That will get their ****ing attention. Just imagine the hurt on their economy if Americans stopped visiting for just a few months!

Did you know that the Social Security Administration is barred by law of notifying rightful owners of misuse of their SS number/ card by someone other than themselves. So, someone can in fact add income to your "SS acct" withour your knowledge, at least until the IRS contacts you regarding non-payment of taxes. They could probably prevent quite a bit of the rampant ID theft and the damages it causes to true citizens!
It's as if we as a nation really don't give a **** unless it atually affects our own bottom line.

Yes, at my job we have to look up peoples wages under their social security number. We have a lot that have income at jobs they've never worked and with another name. It also shows wages under their children's socials sometimes too. But we can't tell them that's going on. Stupid.

My problem with this latest round up is the children and the fact it's Christmas. And if no one has noticed every time they do these it's at Christmas time. Couldn't wait for a couple more weeks since they've been waiting a year already?

ICE would have done it sooner if Swift hadn't taken them to court seeking a temporary injuction against ICE for conducting a raid. Otherwise this would have happened weeks ago ... that's the company's fault, not ICE's. Of course, those who were working there illegally share in the blame as well. They took a risk by seeking employment there. Their luck ran out - too bad so sad. 65 felonies for identity theft in Greeley alone ... what about the American citizens who were victimized by the identity theft scheme? Everybody loses in this game, including the American taxpayer who's forking over BILLIONS to pay for costs associated with illegal immigrants who aren't paying their fair share of the bill. Our country is headed towards bankruptcy and those of us who make enough to pay taxes are going to suffer dearly as a result and so will future generations.

This isn't the first time it's been at Christmas time. There were 3 others since 2001 that were at Christmas time, all 3. They could have waited a couple of weeks each time to do it. It's called having a heart. The children are innocent.

If the IRS were sending you letters about unreported/ unclaimed income....
If your credit rating was going into the ****ter....
If collections agencies were haunting you about loans you did not know about....

......would you still feel the same way?

I say nip it in the butt now, and get the message out!
